As I have already tried out the beta and kinda got used to it, I think it just takes some times to get used to. The f keys for menu makes searching new games a lot quicker as well.

Anyone else noticed the fungal mechanic change for infestors? I don't really know exactly what they changed, but it seems that the fungal has like "assist" on it meaning it can auto sense the packs of units kind of. Anyone know whether this is a bug or did blizzard just change how fungal feels?

It was needed be honest, the old design was uglier. People don't like change. You'll look back to the old design in one month and you'll realise how much better this is.

god the freeze at the beginning of each game kills me -_- especially in pvp its so annoying when everything hits 3 secs later

sorry, i think the old design was way better. ok, maybe the some UI might be more efficient or streamlined, but the graphics and layout makes it look cheaper and more arcade.

Is there a way to turn off the fucking spotlight??

I mean literally the fog of war is so dark all my units look like they have fucking spotlights on them it's aggravating.

Any help appreciated.

The patch wouldn't be so poorly received if Blizzard didn't feel the need to add 5 menus between a players profile and their division. Horribly unnecessary.

I actually stopped playing since yesterday, because the lag and all those bugs are unbearable. We will now have to wait for a month for their retarded brains to realize the huge mess they created in one relatively stable version of the game and another two months to fix it.
Any other RTS on the way? Seems they simply want us out.

The mini-map being darker is way better for me. It's a massive improvement to the old one for color blindness and I can now see incoming drops on the mini map!
There is no imbalance...only weakness.

larva getting in the way of rebuilding a hatch is infuriating, especially since when you lose a hatch you're already not gonna be very happy, then having to turn the larva into drones and cancel just to rebuild makes it even worse.

well with this patch, blizzard obviously lost a lot of constant players, and gained 0 new players. gj blizz, keep it up. I'll start playing sc2 again when some1 comes with a solution to all those retarded bugs and freezes that makes it impossible for me to play the game ( no money for ultra pc ).

I didn't have the time to go through the whole thread but for me the new UI is ugly and less user friendly with respect to how i play the game (not interested in custom games). Also i can't stress enough how ugly it looks (it reminds me of web pages at the end of the 90s for some reason)

edit: as a side note, i have a very good pc (i72600k + gtx670) and in game it feels get more performance with this patch

Things that are missing:
  • Being able to right click someone's portrait and go to his division/match history immediately.
  • Being able to visit some's 1v1 division by clicking the division emblem.

They should just create a easy to access profile overview with as much information one one page as possible. Right now all the relevant information like rank, leagues points, former leagues.... is scattered all across several sub-pages. It does not have to be like that. People have f***** big screens now. You can display more then one piece of information on that. Having to click through several menus just to judge the skill level of someone is very stupid. I could understand a menu structure like that if this was a console game developed for old 480x320 TV-monitors. With current HD PC displays you can fit far more information one one page.

USABILITY is the key word here^^
In that regard the current patch was a step from bad to worse.

This. Annoying especially in mutas fights. I need to click on a mutas in order to make the fungal works. It doesn't when you FG in an empty zone.

This part of the patch is really GREAT and I can confirm that it works, it improved my CPU performance by a ton:

Graphics Improvements
Many physics optimizations have been made across the entire game.
Texture and resources management have been greatly improved, and now use less overall memory.
StarCraft II is now significantly more thorough in pre-loading content, resulting in less in-game stutter.
Custom games now load shaders during the loading screen rather than in-game, resulting in less stuttering caused by shader generation.

Before patch, battles of large armies would often stutter a lot, to the point where you can't really micro during those. Now it's fine! I can't believe it. I'm really happy with that improvement.

For me it lags like crazy, if the battle consists of more than 2 units. My PC is not a bad one and the game was fine before. Now it is unplayable on medium settings.

I have to agree. Especially when you are playing teamgames you want to estimate the level of your opponents to see how fast your mmr is changing. Like the other day when I did placements and lost to a bronze team, turned out that they where high master 2:2 RT and master 1:1 but it take ages to find that with the new patch.
I have the best fucking lawyers in the country including the man they call the Malmis.
