I remember a thread from a while back with somebody suggesting youtube support for sc2replays, that would encode videos. That idea was completely dismissed by the community. But it really ain't hard as long as you can deal with player perspectives only. It's more a question of server capacity, and last I checked, s2 cpu time was pretty damn expensive. If this gets popular the author's gotta find a good way to monetize or drown in server bills. | ||

 First off thanks for all the nice comments. You can find most of the answers to the questions asked her at the reddit thread here: http://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/x9uej/automatically_turn_your_sc2_game_replays_into_web/ This exploded way faster than I anticipated, so the queue is quite long AND the 1.5 patch that came out today is really causing me some problems. I'm working hard to try and fix it. Haven't had problems with any patches prior to 1.5 ...grr. Please let me know if you have any suggestions to make the site better - if you could open issue in github (https://github.com/rynop/ggreplayz/issues) that would be best for me. If you don't want to make a free acct, just post something to the reddit above. thanks! | ||

I am always amazed at what passionate people can produce and Starcraft fans have really brought it to the table thispast year. I hope blizz brings back modding in some form since the release or 1.5 killed some pretty cool shit like STC and Bw voices! | ||
