The rivalry between the two and the fact that it was game 7 in a series that started 3-0 for MMA then back to 3-0 for DRG only further signifies how evenly matched the two have been in the MU. Appropriately, it all came down to an incredibly close final game with MMA barely getting the better of DRG.

Of course, I'm also fond of every other upset against the Koreans from that tournament. Hopefully I can add some more moments with TSL4 ![]()

The GSL where Sad Zenith became the upset champion. Too bad this isn't the full game, but I remember Nestea chose him in his group and SanZenith ended up kicked everyone's ass in his group to go on to the semi-finals where he lost to MC. After watching San's matches, I was forever in love with SC2, the Casting Archon, and GSL. Also, awesome thread OP!!

Also Thorzain's comeback vs Naniwa in TSL3, winning despite the thor nerf after thors helped him beat Nony and MC. Those were the most epic moments, not the best games, but remember what the title is asking.

I remember that same summer, watching ThorZain vs MC, game 3 (I believe) on Crossfire where ThorZain did a bizarre Thor-based build and made it look like he could possibly take the entire series, and I was blown away. I never thought that foreigners would be able to compete at the same level as the Koreans until I saw that game. I remember ThorZain vs Kas, in that same tournament, where every game was a showdown between two incredibly good TvTers on some of the best maps of the time. I loved watching every minute of it. I remember being at work during DreamHack Summer 2011, and having to run to "clean the bathroom" often to check and see how Huk was doing in the championship bracket. I remember checking twitter only to see that everyone was flipping their shit over how Moon had six-pooled in the final game... I was amazed to find that Huk held it and proved again that foreigners can play with the best. More recently, I remember watching HerO (my favorite protoss <3) duel with Puma in 7 games at DreamHack Winter, and ThorZain crushing Polt at DreamHack stockholm. I felt the same way watching those games as I did watching sC vs Nestea. I love this game.

But during the final game between Slayers_Boxer and Slayers_MMA in the semifinals of MLG anaheim 2011, student vs teacher, master vs apprentice, the winner went on to take on MVP during his prime. Boxer played one of the best series I have ever seen from him only for MMA to take it to another level finally overcoming Boxer on Shakuras Plateau. The Moment: Boxer wishes MMA good luck and tells him he better win. He gg's out and then goes out on stage and they share a long embrace. Fucking epic moment. I got to see it live too.

Ugh I wish I had reinstalled SC2 off the disk instead of off the web so I could watch old replays (before 1.3.3)(slow internet T.T). All I know is the replay is on Gamereplays.org and TLO opens Ghosts and has an epic nuke ending. Also the Terran he is playing against has purple unit colors. http://www.gamereplays.org/starcraft2/replays.php?game=33&show=search_submit&search=TLO&search_poster=&matchup_type=all&army_1=278&army_2=278&map=1460&version=all&event=all&league=all&points=&search_submit=clicked&profile_name= I believe it was either Strelok, SeleCT, Sjow, Morrow or BratOK he was playing against. IF somebody that has EVERY game patch would so watch the replays then PM me which game it was so I can update this I would love you forever.

In the ladder one it was Cross spawns on Delta Quadrant and TLO goofs and does a 9supply. then goes all baller status 2rax ghost and snipes the opponents puny 8 marines while pushing his ramp. And it ends with TLO nuking the other dudes whole army at the xel'naga tower.

http://www.gomtv.net/2010gslopens1/vod/1114 TLO vs. Hyperdub TvT. This was an absolutely sick game with nukes and BC's and vikings and ravens.
