Hi Guys, I believe this July it will be almost exactly two years since SC2 was released. There have been some fantastic, really long matches, between pros. I did not see this topic anywhere else, so I thought i would start a thread.
What is your most epic/memorable/innovative game in SC2 history? Notice that I said innovative: There is a difference between a really long macro game versus a game that includes base trades and/or virtually every type of unit used and strategy.
I'm not a huge fan of TVT, but I'm attaching one of my favorites to give you an idea of what I'm looking for (it still gives me goosebumps watching it).
We all know the classics Huk vs Idra, voidray allucination MLG game but I'm sure there are more out there off the radar.
One of my newest favorites is the mass BC vs Vray, archon, Mothership in the GSL Code S finals season 2 (MVP vs Squirtle). I haven't seen such a fantastic game like that in such a long time.
The first time MarineKing demonstrated his now famous Marine splitting vs Kyrixx in the GSL Open Season 2, will remain as the greatest moment in Starcraft 2 history for me for probably the forseeable future.
This never really became common and Nestea only occasionally tries this, but I can't tell you how happy I was to see the FFE smashed to pieces in a time where Zerg were having trouble with it (Ace rolled IEM with Stargate + FFE). Also I like how Tastosis have no idea what Nestea is doing until the last second (I didn't either :D), and he completely hits the breaks on their typical banter xD.
This one definitely deserves it. Honorable Mentions: Kiwikakki vs Stephano game 3 on Shattered Temple Leenock vs Jjakji game 4(?) on Belshir Beach Winter And that one Ace vs Zerg game in which he turtles up on one base and then pushes out and gets the most perfect storms on Belshir Beach Winter.
