Enabling the "Delete auto-saved replays" option in "Settings > Miscellaneous Settings > Replay auto-save" will fix the duplicate replay problem. You can test it on some custom games first if you're a bit nervous about the idea of automatically deleting replays.

My program dont care where or how you save the replay, sc2gears need to save it once, thats all. The trigger is only fired if sc2gears generate an object of the replay. I work with this object not the replay file itself, thats the job of sc2gears. I think i will add an "howto set sc2gears replay settings".

I've really enjoyed the program so far, but I've been experiencing a couple problems. The graph line and MMR are both different values. The line is hovering in the 1030s, when my MMR at the top is currently at 1051. Also, whenever I win a match I'm favored against, my rating goes down. Other than that it's been a lot of fun using this.

Than can not be. Can you post a screenshot of this?
Also, whenever I win a match I'm favored against, my rating goes down. Other than that it's been a lot of fun using this. There is no rule like that. You dont get much mmr if you a favored and because of the derivation it can be that it looks like it go down. It dont affect the graph outcome because the mistake stay local. Also my finetuner try to correct them later but not in the last game. Will add something for that.

You have moving average enabled. The last value is taken from last real game not average game.
Also i see on your graph you have one or more games missing. Playing a laddergame without sc2gears on will confuse the analyser. He dont know the game is missing and he will try to correct the result wrong in this case. He will autocorrect this with more data but at the moment he judge you a little-bit to low.
Update: If a someone playes a masterplayer the analyser is not needed because there is only 1 master tier. My test show that the expected value for a game before a master player ( if this player played only diamond before) and the actual result of the game vs the master player have a diffrence of under 10 MMR-Points! ( if you have many games collected)
This should show you that the analyser/ f function / offsetnumbers are pretty dam accurate at the moment. As soon as i hit 100.000 games i will publish the collected gamedata (without personal information) and work on a report what we found out in all the time.

It is because you have Moving average (Mov.Avg) checked I would assume. Uncheck it and you will see your current MMR at every point instead of the average.

That fixed it for me. Thanks for the help.

skeldark: To make the game numbers at the bottom easier to read you can make the default font smaller. Works for me!
(Well Tahoma size 9 works up to 80 at least )

Skeldark,
Isn't there the chance that if you activate ramscanner Blizzard will ban your account? Or is that no longer an issue?
If it is still an issue, how many of you have been banned because of it/how many are you aware of being banned?

Skeldark, Isn't there the chance that if you activate ramscanner Blizzard will ban your account? Or is that no longer an issue? If it is still an issue, how many of you have been banned because of it/how many are you aware of being banned? FAQ Can i get banned for using the Memory-Scanner Blizzards Terms-of-Use are written in a way that they can ban for everything. Really everything. This tools read the nicknname of the opponent out of the ram like many streamtools do. It dont change the memory or change any sc2-files. So its very unlike blizzard will ban for this. Most likely they cant even detect it. They could run crazy and ban for all kind of applications they dont like but i dont think so. In the end its your account and your risk. Thats the reason i put the warning in, so you dont give me the fault if blizzard goes crazy.
---
Blizzard could ban you for installing sc2 because installing sc2 breaks the sc2 terms of use if you take it word for word...
No one who use it got banned. No one who use one of the stream-tools get banned. No one get banned for changing the bnet files like different background or stronger team colours do. And last one is technical an cheat -what this tool is not-.

Another thing, there should be a way to export the calculated MMRs. games.dat only contains the raw data.
I'd like it to try and find the coefficient that Blizzard uses for their moving average.

Just remember that it's a function of slope (and therefore current volatility), not point history.

Project Update: Today i reached 100.000 games submitted by 3718 Users.
I think this is the biggest sc2 game-data-base outside of blizzard. The quality test show that if you play all games with sc2gears open and collect more than 5 "good games" the accuracy of the MMR (f-function - offsets - analyser) is close to best value possible. (to throw a random number out i would say +-50). We found out so much but there are still some small problems left.
A good time to thank you all for uploading games and in special:
NotThat for all his work on the data and the help with the program. Jimmeh for his webserver and testing. Excalibur and SDream for their mmr research. Scevermore for the background picture. Dakota_Fanning: for creating sc2gears Insane and astraflame: for crushing newbs to help us getting good data Erotomania, Mendelfist, FnaticMatt, Peleus, Malhavoc, InfCereal: for testing
With this data i could create statistic relevant data about skill diffrence of the bnet-server and a real balance status of the game. So people don't have to depend on win/loose ratio of selected players or other not statistic proven data. But for this, i need more USER. So please spread the word... At the moment i delete race-data out of the results. My test prove, you can not get statistic relevant results with it yet and i dont want people to make balance whine post with this data.
"Not That" and me will write a summary status report about what we found out so far in near future!

Hello, so today I normally logged into sc2 with sc2 gears running with the mmrtools plugin. I have been using the mmrtools for quite a while and it has been working fine, but today the mmr graph was not updating after each game, it would litterally stay at the same mmr and everything. I have updated the mmr tools to the current version and have tried numerous things to solve the issue. Help would be appreciated thnx :D

Think the problem for me as well is that 1.4.4 came out on sea today and sc2gears doesn't seem to be working with those replays
