It's up to several things: 1) Location of your MMR regarding your league MMR range and from what league your opponents are (at low range your MMR cannot usually be calculated unless your opponent is from the lower league), 2) Is it early season or mid to late season (early season many have not reached their typical adjusted points --> less suitable data), 3) Is memory reader enabled (if memory reader is off your MMR can only be calculated if you lose & opponent has remaining bonus pool after the match and multiple other requirements), 4) Luck (who your opponents are (is their data suitable), did Bnet web profiles update promptly (out-of-sync issue is quite common nowadays)), 5) Is everything configured correctly regarding the tool & Sc2gears / is the tool up-to-date, 6) has the DB file been locked (DB file is usually locked for few days during season switches as it takes time for Blizzard to update the web profiles).

This older link contains some info how your position in your league MMR range affects your changes to get good calculation results (please note that league offsets / thresholds were different back then, but the basic idea is still valid): http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewpost.php?post_id=19316583

Correct. If the tool is configured correctly and up-to-date then all you can do is wait. The out-of-sync issue the web profiles are experiencing cause that less of the recorded data is usable. But people still keep getting good calculations from time to time (up to luck & your position in your league's MMR range). Some get even plenty, like for example this poster: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewpost.php?post_id=22783906

Also note that two of his calculations were incorrect out of 15. It means incorrect calculations happen sometimes too. With very bad luck the first result can be such. But after couple of good results you can be quite sure. I hope you will get your rating soon.

Moving average should usually be disabled. It makes the graph look smoother but at the same time hides accurate values & makes it harder to spot possible incorrect values. Also it has never corresponded Blizzard's moving average (the exact formula that Blizzard used is unknown). Also since HotS the promotions have happened pretty much immediately after player crosses league thresholds. Thus it is possible that moving average is not used anymore regarding promotions.

Opponent's values can either be on or off depending on what you prefer. Opponent values can also give info regarding your MMR as opponents are usually picked from quite close range. Then again those values can rarely also be incorrect just like your own (the out-of-sync issue causes data errors more often nowadays).

Dots make it easier to notice individual matches from the graph and see their color coding. It is also easy to hover your mouse cursor over them to get match specific info.

Auto-correct should most of the time be disabled. It 'fixes' likely bad values on fly (does not change the saved data, but makes fixes to the graph), but at the same time makes it harder to notice potential incorrect values. If you get spikes in your graph you can test out how the auto-correct would fix it (it usually does nice work, but in some cases it can suggest incorrect fixes) and afterwards manually mark some games bad if needed.

Upload statistic data should preferably be kept on. If it is on, the tool uploads match data to the MMR tool server after each match. That data is not publicly available. It is used for calculating offsets, monitoring the general data quality and checking specific users' data if needed. Only few persons have access to it.

Memory reader should preferably be enabled as it makes it possible to collect pre-match data for the opponent from his SC2 web profiles. Memory reading is against Blizzard's ToS, but likelihood getting banned for it in this case is minimal (no-one of the thousands of users who have used it during last couple of years have been banned due it). Also the data it reads is 'harmless' (player name, player id, opponent name, opponent id) so it is unlikely that Blizzard would specifically target it (they can anytime download it and check the data it fetches is harmless. It is certain that they are aware of the tool's existence). But each user can make his own decision regarding this setting (it is disabled by default).

Mark assumptions / bad games should preferably be enabled. If it is enable, you can see which games are considered 'good'. It is also easier to spot potential incorrect values if you have multiple 'good games'.

Fine-tuner should preferably kept enabled. Each good calculation has certain error margins. The fine-tuner adjusts values for individual games inside these error margins to create more accurate graph.

There are several different markers available for the graph. I would enable promotion lines for the nearest leagues. Some of the other markers like 'missing games' often give incorrect info at the moment due to the out-of-sync issue that Blizzard's web profiles are suffering from since February.

You likely have not configured Sc2gears auto-save correctly. End game detection is triggered when replays are auto-saved. Go to the Sc2gears 'Settings' and choose 'Miscellaneous settings'. The auto-save settings are two tabs: 'Replay auto-save' and 'Folders'. Note that if you use several accounts on several servers you need to set several SC2 auto replay folders. Test that the auto-save is working e.g. via starting & leaving custom games (Having 'Replay saved' sound enabled is helpful). Also remember to check that replay auto-save is enabled (setting in 'Settings' menu).

With looking at the graph you provided you can see that most of the 'good games' are in line with each others except 3 (win in early graph, win in middle graph, win at the end of the graph). Those 3 are very likely invalid values. When looking at your graph based on uploaded data, you got another likely invalid 'good game' after you posted.

Of course if Blizzard would make offset changes there would be spikes. But it seems they have not made any changes lately (league history data from nios.kr has no sudden changes during this season). Thus it is pretty safe to mark all of those 4 games (opponents Pragmatist, Speel, MowYowDew, Solar) bad via 'Config' > 'Data' > 'Refresh' > select matches from dropdown list and mark as bad game. If you wish you can always take a backup copy of the data file if something goes wrong (e.g. if there has been unnoticed offset changes that are later noticed). The 'games_i.data' that stores the current match data is located at [PATH_TO]\Sc2gears\User content\Plugin file cache\mmr.plugin.MMRPlugin\

Korona, thank you for speedy answer to my previous question

Now I have something else to ask, I recall reading somewhere that ranked an unranked games, use diferent mmr value, independent one from the other (is this so?)

If it is (and i think it is) ive might have a problem, because lately i was about to get promoted to diamond acording to mmrstats, then i played, and lost 3 unranked games, with were recorded in mmrstats, then my mmr had lowered away from the diamond offset, but I played 2 more ranked games, won both, and got promoted to diamond, but still my mmr was lower than before.

So assuming my unranked games dont affect my ranked mmr, what seems pretty rasonable due to my promotion, my current mmr does not match what it should be, is there a way to delete those unrenked games y played? Is this a program problem, or im supoosed to play unranked games with mmrstats off? Or do unranked games affect my ranked mmr?

Marking the 3 unranked games as bad games, too, should do the trick i guess.
Congratz for the promotion btw.

If there are recorded unranked matches, then you should delete those via 'Config' > 'Data' > 'Refresh' > select matches from the dropdown > 'Delete game' (for ranked games with incorrect values never delete, but use 'mark as bad game' instead).

Due to the out-of-sync issue of the web profiles I indeed had to disable the unranked detection for lost matches as it nowadays gives lots of false positives (after lost match it appears in a match history with point change of '0' and if the ladder division page does not change it seems like no ranked matches were played (match counters do not increase, nor points & bonus points are deducted) --> false positive). It is a shame that Blizzard does not separate ranked and unranked matches in match history nor in replay files in any way. Thus it has to be determined based on the profile changes. And if the changes are out-of-sync there will be problems.

Unranked has its own MMR that can be calculated just like the ranked MMR if the opponents data is suitable. Thus a recorded unranked match from witch the MMR can be calculated will cause problems if that MMR differs from the ranked MMR (like it most of the time does). Of course also recorded unranked matches from which the MMR cannot be calculated will cause problems too, but only for the 'estimate change' of 16 MMR points each.

Hello, sir.

I am using the plugin for a long time (about 2 years), but I never understood what the Promotionline actually stands for. I mean, does this line show minimum MMR to promote to platinum or to promote from platinum?

Another question is what should I do if I have too much bad \ missing games. The plugin has gone crazy, the left side of the graph represents my MMR when i was in gold league, and the right is plat:
