Good for people that hate colours i guess. The sharpness is actually nice. The desaturation is not, as someone posted, real life is actually really colourful.

There's no brown added, just less vibrancy in the colours. the colours are still the same. Please at least take a look at the pictures before judging

Please at least take a look at the pictures before judging Color desaturation essentially mutes colors into brownish shades. Look at the grassland picture. The grass clearly becomes more brownish. The last picture in the series is basically just different shades of dirt.

Here we are talking about color desaturation

edit: Okay, more info: I ran the repair.exe, it said everything's fine. Then I rebooted and started SC2 before anything else, and it worked. I tested it a couple of times now, if I reboot and start SC2 before anything else, it works, but if I open some progs and stuff first, then SC2 can't run anymore. I guess this is kinda vague, but do you know what's up, by any chance? edit2: Never mind, I found the problem, it crashes when xfire is running. This didn't happen before so kinda strange, but whatever I'll just play sc2 without it on.

There are not only darker, but also desaturation. You can revert brightness by changing it ingame options Hey, 1 more thing I just noticed. After pausing and unpausing the game, the dark filter just went off, lol. Had same issue too. You can rebind ingame pause to other hotkey
