Glad the replicant and shredder got scrapped. Shredder was pretty redundant for terran since they have so many units and buildings that control space(turrets, tanks, sensor tower, etc). It was a bad unit overall.
And thank god they remove the replicant.Balance would be an absolute nightmare when you have a unit that copy almost every unit. Imagine fungal +storms+forcefield. Glad they remove it and give protoss something new and original.
Blizz, please increase mass recall energy usage by a ton. This ability will definitely be OP. Mass recall should be researchable and not just obtainable right from the start.

if this were true, they would have kept the carrier, right?
The carrier wasnt in Red Alert, he cant balance it so he just removes it. If this were true... well it is.
Fixing the Carrier sounds so much more logical then getting a new random air siege unit. It's a fantastic design and i would really be sad to see it go away, but then again i am just a spectator what do i know.
The shredder going is like a blessing terran did not need it, and it's abuse would have been legendary
Zerg sounds good but the nydus and overseer are actualy descent just make them cheaper in gas, there simply is no need a nydus needs to be that expancive for it's sound and time it takes to build, making it 90% of the time a fail.
I asume pro players are helping with balance etc ? This would make things so much more easy.
The tempest is currently a very long-ranged aerial siege weapon that can strike both air and ground targets. This gives the protoss army some real reach to force an engagement on their terms in the end-game.
I died a little inside. I know that nothing is set in stone yet, but do Protoss really need any help in end (i.e. late) game PvT?

haha good one, imagine toss replicate infestor, then fungal mutas and storm the shit outta it rofl. No more whining about mutas imba lol.

edit: I meant the Tempest.
I agree. I love Void Rays. I think they're uniquely designed and definitely benefits from increased skills. I wish Blizzard can make them a little more useful than now. I would love to be able to use Void Rays tactically, without all-in'ing or gimmickeries.

This is just blatantly wrong, they nerfed voidrays because some korean pro gamer sent Blizzard a very detailed e-mail on how the voidray was imbalanced with certain timings and he included replays and things, and then nerfed the VR solely because of him.

They already said that in their SEC filings. Blizz is going to release only 1 title this year, and that title is Diablo 3.
Yup. On the bright side, we've got plenty of time to get into Masters before HotS drops :D
I wonder how much minerals Viper will extract from a patch per "mana reload". New z strat, get map control early and mine out your opponents future bases? (edit: hmm it says "locks up a patch, that can't be permanent it would make no sense at all?)
Seems like TvP will remain the same shit it is now. Battlehellion alone will not change anything. Yes, maybe they will "stand their ground" against chargelots better than MMM does, but then again your tanks will kill them with friendlyfire. Give tanks some late game upgrade that reduces ff like in the single player.
Also kind of curious there was no mention about burrow moving banelings. Maybe it requires more testing to see if it works.

If mass recall makes it into the game,Protoss will never ever lose in a base trade situation.

Because every time they engage in a base trade situation, their army will be superior to their opponents, and they will be able to critically damage their opponent before taking similar damage themselves to such an extent that the game will be unwinnable for their enemies.
Keep talking please, it will be good, but statements like that are delusional

What the fuck? This is just depressing if they actually think protoss is lacking in the lategame -_-

Carrier =(
Well at least it's good to see that they're not replacing it with an a-move unit anymore. Might actually detract from deathball mentality.
As much as I like their talk about the new units, I still feel like some current units in the game could use work. Collosi, Void rays, hydras, carriers (though being removed), overseers (though being worked on) and corruptors (they still have that ability?).
Basically, I'd like to see more abilities and micro-ability included in the game. Stuff like ultra charge and battlecruisers boost are nice handy little aspects of the game that will allow these units to be more viable in some form. I want to see a battle where so many abilities get used that we find it unbelievable as opposed to now where army positioning (splits, ordering, flanks, etc) is about the only thing that pros do leagues better than ladder players in battle at least.
More skills. Make players work for an APM + control goal that almost appears unachievable. Then we can celebrate when it happens. As it is we've been celebrating decent FF or storm placements, but every player should be able to do these, they just make mistakes.

Source? Almost all the interviews they've ever done talk about changes being the result of multiple data points of which pro feedback is but a part, it's described in general over here:
