The old " Here's our new Blizzard game, make it awsome we're watching " was getting a bit ineffective when you look at what Valve or Riot can do.

It was obviously for its burial. Funnily enough, I'm pretty mad about the move. As for the sc2 PL, it was pretty obvious it was bound to happen soon. Terrible move. This is basically what I am feeling right now. I will NEVER EVER support a Blizzard game for what they did to BW and what they are doing today with SC2. D3 and Sc2 would have been the games I would have bought but you can say goodbye to my ass, blizzard.

They finally understood that postering Seoul and buying out an advert on a Plane is not a way to go. Too little, too late, if you ask me. Besides, SC2 in Korea for me just feels so... artificial. It's propped up by outside support and I doubt OGN will be able to change Korea's mentality. There's a high possibility that too many Koreans just don't find SC2 fun to play.

I can only hope that Blizzard are taking this into account when negotiating with KeSPA. Namely a higher foreigner representation, better international syndication of tournaments with multilingual commnentary teams and not just Korean.

As much as I don't like watching it either this is where the market is going. You can call it a joke all you want, but they enjoy it more.
