Naniwa has a better record against world class Zergs than Stephano does against world class Protoss.
That's about the only thing you could say in Naniwa's favour (except that Naniwa beat Stephano 2-0 at Dreamhack).
Aside from that Stephano surpasses Naniwa in all areas.
I think Naniwa could win for sure, he certainly wouldn't leave Stephano to build 6 bases, 40 spines and 15 Broods like most EU Protoss do.

Mc said: He think DRG and Stephano are on the same Level, the rest zergs are little DRG...
Since the Homestory Cup Stephano´s PvsZ and overall his gameplay improved so much, he has the highest pvsz winrate in EU, 74%.
Naniwa is for sure not an easy going for stephano, but he will win. I dont know if you know it, but stephano was in korea for a while, maybe 2 months and after 1 months he was a high level grandmaster player there and beat almost every GSL Code S player in ladder.
I think he just to strong at the moment, but maybe naniwa will show me the opposite of my predictions ;-)
Well will be awesome anyway.

Idra are also in Korea and he is pretty bad...nothing to say, stephanos skill are just > naniwa^^
+ Zerg imba ;>
but i love stephano and naniwa, would be an epic match to see. I'm pretty sure MC has never dropped a game to Stephano, where does he say that? stephano stayed 1 month in ogs house, they should have train together. MC said something like that @iem world. No he didn't...he just said that they have similar styles. I've never seen MC drop a game to Stephano, even on ladder. Please don't just make up stuff if your not going to provide sources.
He did on ladder...when MC picked Zerg...Not sure if they met after that.

Isn't Naniwa the guy who never won a single match in GSL and won nothing since MLG? He is the person who beat Sheth, NesTea, then Leenock less than 3 weeks ago a an MLG. Are you one of those idiots who only consider people who actually win a major tournament good? Euh no, i consider people who perform poorly (and that's an euphemisim) in korea and don't manage to win international tourneys not really good.
Are you one of the people that count wins only? and dont look at the context of the games? Naniwa is a bit better than 'really good'
he did amazing at blizzcup, and almost went through the round-bobin stage, against top class opponenets last 2 mlg's he has played amazing vs koreans. Losing to DRG, who is currently best zvp in the world. This showmatch would be good. Would be way closer than any other showmatch weve had, and of a quality worthy of finals.

People say a lot of things, talk is very cheap. Especially Koreans have been saying foreigners are as good as Koreans every interview for the past 18 months, and yet results and common sense say otherwise.
MC is 5-0 vs Stephano where as he has a losing record vs DRG.
He didn't even mean that anyway, he meant they play the same style of gasless fast three bases which MC said he likes to punish via two base all in's.

I don't think anybody in the world can pretend that either of these players is easy to beat. It's a fair match, nobody would "roll" anybody.

Stephano is a bit overhyped, but so is Naniwa.

It would suck because of the lag. If it was LAN, however.... :o

like i said, your looking at the games in a win/lose situation only. His blizzcup performance was not horrible, he played well. He just didn't win. Apart from the probe rush all his games were well played

Can you post the link please? Your MC quotes aren't even coherent. He is referring to MC's interview during IEM, and it's unclear whether MC meant skill level or play style, because the question was about violet being aggressive and preferring gas openings over 3hatch openins, so I think he was referring to play style rather than total skill. But it's translation who knows.
Interview right aftter 3-0ing zenio.

Losing is losing. There's no positive spin on a 0-4.

MC said it on the IEM in Hannover yesterday after he beating Violet 3:0.
U took MC and Naniwa on the same Level, dudes wake up, MC is MC and Naniwa is Naniwa, it doesnt matter at all.
5-0 MC vs Stephano has nothing to do with Naniwa. Naniwa was able to beat Nestae serveral times, but Nestea isnt Stephano, both has differnt gamestyles...
You think that u can messed up skills by results of totaly differnt players? thats just stupid sorry.
naniwa is strong, stephano is strong and pvsz is stephanos best matchup...
so would be awesome to see that match. i give naniwa 1 map, rest will win stephano ;-)
Edit: sorry my english isnt good at all, but i give my best, that you all understand what i mean.

Theres most definitely a difference between getting demolished/rolled or just barely losing a game or series

Nani so overrated. Stephano will beat him guaranteed, why not make it 20K??

The two best and cockiest players in the foreigner scene in a money match against eachother??
They could prolly make all the money back on ads...everyone is gonna watch that ^_^
So who's gonna win? You might as well ask: Can Stephano hold a varity of fancy pancy two base all ins? Yes? Well then Stephano is going to win! ;>
