The road to Code A
What does it take to qualify for Code A? It is something that no foreigner has been able to figure out since the GSL Open Seasons.

With Code A qualifiers less than a week away, Unstable will be spending the time with the FXOpen team documenting how they prepare for Code A qualifiers on the 10th and 11th of March. During this time there will be interviews with multiple FXOpen up and coming players on what they are doing to prepare, how they are feeling about it all and what they think their hardest challenge will be during this ordeal.

There will also be interviews with their mentors during this whole process. (T)GuMiho, (P)Oz, (Z)Leenock and (Z)Lucky will be working closely with the players as they try to overcome one of the hardest things any StarCraft II pro gamer can do.

Please let us know if there are any topics you would like to be covered in interviews or any questions you would like asked during all of this!

This is a really cool idea and a great way to promote the up and comers in the Korean scene, I really hope some of the younger FXO players make it this weekend, had the honor of getting rolled by Tree and Sirius on ladder, they are pretty scary, GL!

I'm already a FXO fanboy (mainly GuMiHo and leenock ), but that is just cool to be able to see some code B players from the team.

This is awesome from FXO.

Cheering really hard for Tear in these qualifiers!!

For any FXO players that don't make it, there's always EWM to try again

If you could, I think it would really help to get photos for all the players.

Was planning on doing this tomorrow at the same time I'm doing all the interviews since they will be in uniform and such.

Sweet.

Who is VoidRay? He's the only one I don't recognize on the list. Does he have any previous aliases?

Voidray is new and is a school friend of Leenock. He was recommended to us by Leenock and is a developing player. He will most likely perform in 2-3 seasons from now.

And about Sirius. He has Accomplishments he qualified for the GSL Open Seasonn 2 where he lost to Genius. He also did very well in the http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/ESV_TV_Korean_Weekly/Season_1/Weekly_11 and in the http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/ESV_TV_Korean_Weekly/Season_1/Finals_3

Cool idea this. Will be interesting to see lesser known players try to take on the daunting code A qualifiers.

By the way, was anyone else disappointed not to see "Banshee control" in the strengths and weaknesses section for TheBest?

I don't understand these "Strengths and weaknesses"... "loves his team but has too many emotions"??

Should be stuff like, "Well known for doing cheesy builds, but has great micro" imo.. I realize the emotional state of the players contribute, but I'm sure there's in game stuff that they could work on too o_ O

I agree. The collective memory is harsh. People don't remember you for the countless times you play well, but only when you really mess up. Naniwa's probe rush? MMA killing his own CC?
