Proberushing is much, MUCH worse than forfaiting.
Both sitautions are/were "bad", but Proberushing is about the worst thing you can do.. Except probably killing your own Nexus...

Not sure about the Nexus. But killing your own CC with SCVs happened already in a pro game....

are you sure? Where?

Idra Vs. MMA at MLG Orlando I believe.

Edit: The proberush was in an irrelevant game after they wouldn't let him forfeit....>_>

Actually Naniwa never asked if he could forfeit the proberush match. Naniwa said so himself in an interview on LO3.

People find it interesting and important to talk about. If you don't - well, you have the option of not reading.

In my opinion he made a right choice.

After all you should take care of your health in first place and if your up-time all ready is so high that your
going to almost fall asleep during games, theres no good reason to continue on the tournament.

All this "you should think about fans also" makes kinda no sense, because the games would been awful if your focus is like
0/10

Peace.

Actually it's more like a select few that go on and on about the same thing page after page.

LOL at EG's Stephano slander campaign on ITG, where Demuslim took it out on Stephano for not playing all the matches he was involved with when signing with the ONOG tournament, and disapointing the audience, when himself forfeited in the middle of a tournament and threw matches to the face of fans (ESWC NA qualifier). Way to be a hypocrite, Ben.
(not talking about the fact he decided to throw his games only when he faced his team mate Idra, to secure him a step further in the qualifier rather than letting the players he eliminated earlier in the bracket to have a chance to face Idra and get the chance, that Ben and EG's trick robbed, to qualify)

Also Incontrol talking about endurance when he has never been in a situation where he had to play more than a bo3 in any tournament bracket he participated, due to being out everytime on the first round (despite MLG giving him all the second chances in the world where nobody else would, and for a good reason).
Why is Incontrol even talking about something he clearly has no clue about? Easy to talk about exhaustion in tournament when your experience of it resumes to settle your keyboard and putting in back in your bag a couple of minutes later.

"I would love that have his problems" - Looks like Jealousy has spoken through Incontrol's mouth, but making it loud enough to be heard isn't a wise choice if you want to look a legitimate arguer.

Fact is EG is trying to get Idra back on the spotlight and continues to bash people's mind with the illusion of him being the n°1 foreigner zerg, but that's not how to do it: he has to prove it himself, but sadly for EG he can't win a game to save his credibility.
That's what EG doesn't get, when taking everyone for dumbass sheeps, champions are made on the battlefield and recognised by the viewers, not built by the marketing squad and sold by force to people in contradiction with the actual results.

And ranting about it on a show will not change anything about it.

Typical attack to the messenger and not the message.. if you are really that butthurt you should at least make an argument that in some way might justify why Stephano acted like a douche rather than trying to portray EG as this evil empire which is pretty much only in your head.

Typical attack to the messenger and not the message when trying dismiss an attack to a messenger and not to a message... Wait that doesn't make any sence? Yeah that pretty much sums up your argumentation: formulating intricate sentences with words you've been hearing left and right when you have yourself no clue about the ins and outs of it, in most cases will give you such a terrible result rather than making you look like a genius

By the way why are you using such categories like "attack" or "evil empire"? Too many movies and comics worked on yourself if you can't have an argument without falling into clichés and dichotomies between "good" and "evil". No wonder you're showing such a binary and stereotyped behavior on forums.

The irony...

Indeed.. how do you even respond to that without lowering your IQ? Hydroxyl must be very satisfied now thinking he's so smart for having 'figured me out'.. ah well.

And yet again nowadays you have to make up for other's immaturity by making yourself the leading step.

So, it turns out Stephano is a hero for apologizing after behaving like a total douche.. who would have thought?

Ahaha take care of your health? Have you ever stayed up late? He doesn't work and can technically sleep for as long as he likes. It's fine, if misguided, to approve his decision, but you don't have to come up with inane justifications.

He don't work. But as far as I know he still go to school, so no he can't sleep for as long as he likes. That said, I also don't think it would be THAT bad for his health to only sleep for a few hours once in a while.

He is one of the few professional (full-time salary with a proper work contract) in EU.

Question: You have 2 EU players playing a final. And you know that their local times are 3:00AM & 4:00AM you know that.

Why won't you postpone the schedule to have a chance to cast way more kickass games?
In tennis when rain falls you just wait for it to finish, and if a game's schedule goes past 10:00PM you just postpone it to the next day. Even finals.

This tourny chose to put their crew & their audience rate before the players' health and the quality of the games.
This part also has to be questionned IMO.

For me this is a 1:1

It is pretty clear you have either: A. Not read anything about the incident and have no idea what was going on and why the tournament was played, or B. Have to reading comprehension.

I will give you the TL;DR version:

Tourney was for live Barcraft in US.

As much as i dont want to admit it, stephano took responsibility (sort of), so.. Discussion is actually really obsolete.

At least i am "satisfied", turns out he is not as careless as it seemed. If he really learns from what happened, its win/win for everybody - orgas, fans etc. So.. Drop it?

It was a invitational sponsored and run from USA for Barcrafts in the USA and was supposed to be played on the NA server with players for all around the world. The schedule was set to fit the US barcrafts because it is they who sponsors it. And so they can't just postpone it however they like. it is unreasonable. And there was no guarantee that there would be 2 players from EU in the final when the schedule was made, the EU players however were well aware of the time. Sure it was delayed, but that was Stephanos fault because he was playing in another tournament as well so you can't blame the time on delays.

Also, while you maybe postpone matches in tennis (I don't know anything about tennis), that is not the same for every sport so you can't really have it as argument. Every sport don't do the same thing. But in starcraft you never, at least very seldom, postpone matches.

If he was too tired to play then he was too tired. Sounds like he didn't have a problem with them bumping him to forth.
