We know how much the carrier means to everyone and think that this is a great opportunity to give the carrier another chance before making a final decision on the unit’s future. it might not be a final decision, so we need to use it in HotS beta and give them reason to keep it! Hopefully the new oracle ability will prevent interceptors from getting fungaled. I'm afraid about mass corruptors still being cost effective vs skytoss though-- with both carriers and tempests being massive they will take bonus dmg (& corruption bonus) but maybe tempests can snipe them down or something. | ||

Mass corruptors should always be effective against skytoss. Corupptors are a sole air to air unit, while skytoss has units that shoot air and ground. The sole purpose air superiority unit has to be better than the catch all unit like the carrier in the head up engagement. | ||

I'm not even taking about balance though, just that it's boring as both a player and spectator to see any 1 unit that can be massed reactively that easily takes out a composition that the other player has slowly but steadily accumulated. I don't think I'm alone in thinking that the corruptor is a fairly boring unit either. | ||
