Scouting: He didn 't see it before it was well too late. I can beat protoss too with surprise mass banshee, if they havn't got the currect counter. The surprise is half the stength of that attack. Upgrades! It is a simple relationship when facing carriers. You can use whatever units have appropiate armor upgrades. If your air don't have armor upgrades and the protoss have air attack upgrades you can't use air. Get some Hydras going at once, because assumingly you got ground armor. Don't worry about their attack upgrades if the carriers are a surprise chances are he probably didn't build a second cybernetics core for armor on his air. But no matter what you CANNOT engage carriers with something that is 1 armor upgrade behind, much less 3. Carriers gains 16 dps per upgrade ahead no other unit scales that crazy. It just doesn't work to fight carriers without armor. | ||
