Discussing the controversy and stating your opinions in a constructive way is fine, but there will be bans for any player/organization bashing without anything to substantiate it. |

They're still trying to snipe alive, but just want to do it on peaceful terms now. Their translator still initiated all this like coach lee said. You know, I wonder how much is seen as "too much" when talking to a player-friend in a casual manner? Like, what's the line of "too much influence"? Casually dropping a few statements about, "We send all our players to MLGs!" or, "Our players typically make X amount of money, how much do you make?" (Obviously less crass and brusque, and I'm just throwing out a few examples, but I wonder what the limit is here and what's the proper etiquette when approaching this casually with a player of another team.)
When you look at other professional sports there are varying degrees as to which you can contact players from opposing teams. I have noticed in various American sports that just by mentioning the name of a potential free agent acquisition prior to the time period where discussions can officially begin will incur fines and sanctions on the person or team who broke the rules. In football (soccer) it's vaguely similar. Players (should) usually only be contacted through the official channel (team A contacting team B). However, when a player enters the final 6 months of his contract his is legally allowed to hold his own talks with other teams with regards to being contracted with them once the current contract with the current team is finished.
In my opinion, there should be tighter rules regarding player contact. The issue is proving that these discussions take place outside of the rules as a lot of players and teams are friends to the point where these informal discussions can occur and no one else is the wiser.

aLive is such a handsome little guy. It's a damn shame that he's wrapped up in all this drama; he'll be an asset on whatever team he finds himself.
Fingers crossed it works out for all parties involved.

This "Coach Lee" from Karate Kid Returns really thinks everyone on this planet is looking to poach his players.... EG now Fnatic? Here's a wakeup call to u Lee...teams are not poaching your players...your players are leaving your team THEN joining another team because THEY offer them what they want.
"Honor" ends when it comes down to conditions and money...and that is applies globally...Korea is not an island that is not effected by it.
Just stop blaiming other teams for being better then yours or because your players (without contract?) want to join them...u are starting to sound like a noisy annoying girl who didn't get any candy "But but i don't want him to join a team and have the opportunity of a lifetime to travle the world and live his dream..... i want him to sit in a cold dark corner of a 4x4 room and practice like a codemonkey...is that to much to demand from my players?".... look at yourself before starting to throw rocks at others.
By your logic every korean ever contracted outside KR was poached...are u serious? Stop making up things and trying to give everyone a bad reputation... it's not like TSL is a team that strikes fear... it's a regular team with a few sparks of genius and big time-gaps inbetween those sparks

...Alive was under contract. A player under a contract can't just up and join another team. It has nothing to do with honor. It's called business.

Jesus Christ how do people miss that Alive was/is under contract. Do we need a moderator note or something?

VirgilSC2, you're such a faggot, go outside dork-ass nerd, I can't even see a thread on this site without an annoying post from you. It's so pathetic how you post on every thread bragging about your "sources." You're clearly just fucking obssesed with TSL and a raving fanboy who likes to pretend he's "in-the-know" of everything. Get a fucking job or hobby, either that or I've been trolled, in either case it's still sad as fuck. Later, i'm banned probably. Don't care.

I was talking in general..and i was attacking his mentality to blame everyone and everything arround him like everyone and everything wants to do him harm...not the aLive case..but the way he announces stuff that has no background.
How can Coach Lee keep making apocalyptic accusations when players under contrat + other teams can't even consider anything related to stealing a player while that contract stands...who on this planet would risk money for that? They could just talk about signing a new contract when his current one ends...but coming up with a statement like "Fnatic then cut off the deal, and acquired Alive in the process" is hands down "special"...and we all know the second meaning of that...
|
Lol this is really wierd again. But there has to be going on with Coach Lee/TSL if so many players have left already (JYP, Puma, SangHo, Tester, FD etc.)
|
So TSL is like mbc game train super heroes like July , Bisu and Light and all their players get stolen because the team's cant afford to pay their salaries and etc . I think history repeat's itself most of the thing that happen here has already been done in broodwar.

This is exactly what TSL needs! Someone who is willing to defend their players/team to the death (not literally) and will call out any party involved as well as involving a huge legal team.

call me naive but i think if you are under contract with a team... you're not supposed to join another team...
(god i love drama).

I agree with coach Lee he had aLive under contract, and it is BS that a translator would offer a spot on a team without the boss's go ahead.

Spreading lies about one of the most respected international e-sports organizations is good business, eh?

You know, I miss the good old days when it was just EG one needed to worry about. Now it's like freaking Counterstrike 2, something I had dreaded from day 1.

LOL, no not that kind of director. Seems to me that TSL needs someone who can oversea their operations, have plans and vision, and can take the team to the next level. Obviously, this is not one of Coach Lee's forte.

I am not impressed by the coach crying wolf all the time.

Regardless of who's in the right or wrong here, it's starting to get tiresome that every time Coach Lee has a problem, he airs it out for the whole world to see.

Sure can. As long as it's done legally. It all depends on the content of the contract.
