Discussing the controversy and stating your opinions in a constructive way is fine, but there will be bans for any player/organization bashing without anything to substantiate it.

As confusing and unclear as this remainds, i do know one thing for sure. I eagerly await hearing which team Alive joins in future.

Good tweet from DoA.
Although it's frustrating, I prefer to think of drama in Esports as growing pains. Goodnight, guys.

I wish it felt less like schoolyard drama and more like legitimate business

This certainly puts an interesting twist on things.

I'm inclined to believe it somewhat at this point, seeing as most of my information came from close to TSL and could therefore be biased, however this sounds like a much larger problem than a misunderstanding.

Crow tastes pretty good, huh?

I don't see your point, it's not like Fnatics article clears any of this up at all, it simply states their side of the story. I'm still more inclined to still believe the TSL side of this over the Fnatic. However, I have noticed that you seem to have some problem with me.

Naw, it's nothing personal. It's your blind devotion to TSL and the attitude you display about how they can't seem to do wrong and they're being attacked by everyone. It's the very fact you're more inclined to still believe the TSL side of this, while you just said a moment ago how you were inclined to believe what Fnatic said and agreed that your information "could therefore be biased."

Considering that I have a much closer relationship with TSL than I do Fnatic it's really not that hard to understand. Fnatic's press release leaves a lot of loose ends and half answered questions but I'm also willing to take Fnatic at their word that they haven't signed aLive to a contract simply because Fnatic is a professional organization and they would be crazy to say that and it not be truthful.

How about we go get a couple beers, beat the crap out of each other and then be the best buds ever? :-D

Seems to me like a lot of TSL players don't/haven't liked playing for TSL maybe? I don't know, or really care for that matter. I'd rather focus on MOON! anyways.

theres still the scenario that that fnatic's translator convinced aLive to leave the house/terminate the contract and then fnatic would pick him up later with a shitload of money. Coach Lee discovered that dirty trick and went apeshit.
It's all theorycraft though :p Waiting for Coach Lee's statement

I dunno, that statement by fnatic didn't change much for me. They're still trying to snipe alive, but just want to do it on peaceful terms now. Their translator still initiated all this like coach lee said.

You know, I wonder how much is seen as "too much" when talking to a player-friend in a casual manner? Like, what's the line of "too much influence"? Casually dropping a few statements about, "We send all our players to MLGs!" or, "Our players typically make X amount of money, how much do you make?" (Obviously less crass and brusque, and I'm just throwing out a few examples, but I wonder what the limit is here and what's the proper etiquette when approaching this casually with a player of another team.)

Sure. We'll do it GSL group format, then, since there's four of us. I think shots all around would help with this. I'm in the mood for some Jager anyway.

omg TSL is so bad at keeping their players! I can imagine puma and JYP leaving them for the promise of fame and money, but they didnt even manage to keep loyal players like sangho...

Other things to keep in mind: They spent, in their own words, "months" negotiating with Moon to bring him onto the team, which sincerely leads me to believe that they wouldn't knowingly try to poach a player under contract like aLive, mostly because they've shown that they are patient. If they wanted aLive, I think they would've worked it out a little less hastily than this. I mean, shit, spending "months" negotiating? That hardly happens in eSports.

Anyways, off to bed. Have fun, dudes!

TSL could really benefit from having a team director much like the role of Jessica in Slayers. Shame on Fnatic as well. I'm going to root really hard for TSL in GSTL.

Never liked fnatic anways. Worst team considering public issues with their team imo. Going to stick with Liquid,Complexity, and EG because they are the most honest. Atleast from what I can see through the public eye.
