1v1 League - Mid/Low Diamond Games played - Over course of a week, I average 3-4 per day. Starting to get closer to 5 as I work harder Blizzard APM - 95 SC2 Gears APM - 175 SC2 Gears EAPM - 115 Race - ZERG Other games - Nothing serious. LoL rarely and casually. Former casual WoW player. Now casual SWTOR player. Anything else I play is on console. | ||

An interesting addition to this test would be typing style, IMO. For instance, I have a bit of a whacky 7-finger style, where I do use all five fingers on my left hand (thumb = space), but only use my right hand index and middle finger. My right ring finger only comes into play for buttons like Enter and Backspace. None of my pinkies ever do anything other than float around in the air and occasionally hold shift, so I guess you could even say it's effectively a 6-finger style. (As you can tell, I never had any typing lessons in school that weren't so simple that I could just own everyone else with this flawed method of typing;)) | ||

Top Masters though. 0-15 minutes of SC2 per day. Also I only use 4 fingers to type between both of my hands, that may be my problem too... I played at Blizzard 160-180apm before they changed the way they did it, now I have no clue. | ||

On easy texts like this a real good person can achieve above 700-800+, but typically when I do long copying such as 10 minutes or 30 minutes speed sets between 400-500 characters / m for me. Champions can typically sustain 800+ cpm for 30 minutes when typing their native language, but there are maybe half a dozen people who have shown that in the last decade. I think the number is gross, which means they get -100 characters for every mistake. I think having very fast hands and muscle memory ready for your own keyboard can be helpful for SC2, to certain levels. I had very, very easy time during the beta when the game wasn't understood that well and almost everyone could be beaten by using the right hotkeys fast enough - this advantage degrades as people tend to learn superior builds and how to use hotkeys for micro & macro themselves. If anything, it's worth to get used to touch typing in the 21st century but I guess it isn't that much of an issue for the majority of TLers already. | ||

Here's my profile. I use this site more than once a day to type lol. I have always been fast with my hands. Just a high masters player . Highest ever was 171 though the highest on my profile page shows 166 because it's the highest out of the last 50 tests I took . | ||

Yes, used to play dota at the highest level for 'unknowns', it's not worth the effort to try and make a team(the individual skill level is pretty much the same among top players, pubbers or 'pros' alike, since dota's skill cap is quite low, at least when compared to starcraft or war3) and mostly RPGs like TES, Fallout, etc. | ||

My normal wpm is about 80 but with that it was only 60 i found it really hard as my brain was almost fighting against my hand cos nothing made sense lol. If instead of just putting out random words, if it took a rancdom section from some random book or something it'd be alot easier holy fuck @people gettin 142 | ||
