Telenil and Jones have stated a few times (like here and here) that there WILL be a LotV update (6.0 and so on) but it will take time. Like 6 months or so.

I believe they also would like to use custom models. We'll see what they do in the lotv update, as there are a few cool portraits already on sc2mapster page, but they haven't decided to use them yet. My bet would be that is because those portraits don't have a talking animation. I could be wrong though

This is utterly amazing.

I just had the brain-fart of hearing about SC's campaign in SC2 and found it.

+1 for the flickering textures and during construction terrain building's scaffolding is glowing bright blue for some reason.
But these are minor quibbles for now.

I'm just trying to decide if I'm okay with keeping EVERYTHING as close to original(such as the silliness that is buildings not turning when flying).

Woah, I thought the building to be artiter tribunal or something. I didn't expect it to be shield battery. Whatever assets you may decide to use later on, keep your version of shield battery. it's certanly better.

very cool I like that you kept the original voices but decided to remake the cinematics in-game, its a really cool idea

The mineral patches at the starting location in the Terran mission : Hammerfall seem all bugged. Not a single one will accept my SCVs to gather my precious... Am I the only one?

The remade cinematics are my least favorite part. They don't hold a candle to the originals. I'd rather a cue that tells you which video to watch on YouTube at that point in the game.

The original cinematics are part of the mod since 5.3. You can enable them in the options [note that you also need the cinematic pack]

It...should've been fixed with 5.4.3. Make sure you have that version of the mod.

It is a no brainer to keep the old shield battery that the Mass Recall team has already done, as it is looks the same as the one from Brood War.

However on the units side i like the new ones from Blizzard better, also i think the reaver animations are better.
But the dragoon, i dont know, looks so buff, like it has been eating it self to death or something after the fall of Auir :p

Haven't made any moves yet regarding these but I think it's safe to say those air units are in and the shield battery is out. Personally leaning towards buhhy's old Dragoon model which we currently have, which I think looks excellent to this day.

One thing though, could you (or someone) at least edit a bit on the corsair model? I mean just changing a few colours, it looks so...Aiur-ish with its gold stuff. (And if I know it well, that unit belongs to the Nerazim) Your current reaver is quite good, too.
But, of course, it's your choice


Also, I wrote it once already, but...
Could you implement the trigger where the QoB spawns from the chrysalis? I think it would be great addition, but of course, not priority....

Aw, I think the new Dragoon is cool, looks so cute and fatty.

I understand what you say, I have always thought the corsair had to be like platinum because it was a Nerazim ship, I think someone has already made that retexture on Mapster.

Hello.

I tried to install sc1 mass recall but it seems the maps doen't work with LOTV.
Movies are ok but I have an error message like dependancies miss when I launch a map.

Some help please

You also need SCMRmod [and SCMRcore if you're using the retro edition] in the mods folder
And you might want to have the extras and the broodwar campaigns in your maps/starcraft mass recall folder [map pack 2&3]
