wtf are you talking about, difficulty was perfect, just because high difficulty frustrates you doesnt mean the whole game must be toned down, thats what the lower difficulty settings are for
people like you are ruining the difficulty of games because they always think its too hard for everyone if its too hard for them

I've also completed all levels on hard and is not that difficult, maybe a bit challenging on some levels.
But I have to say that Zerg 9, when you harvest the Khaydarin cristal was close near to impossible, all Protoss vanguards attack at the same time since like min 15 with scouts, carriers, arbiters, reavers, high templars and mass zealots, all at the same time.
I think the trigger should be modified to delay a bit each wave and not have all 3 happening at the same time, but definitely not changing the difficulty, it is challenging enought.

You mean after you sent the drone to harvest? I couldn't really deal with it either, so I made sure I destroyed every base during the harvesting ^^

No, I mean since like min 15 to 18 all three waves start attacking together and holding the expansions becomes really hard.

I for one am enjoying playing this with Starcraft 2 graphics. I loved the story and it was pretty much balanced for multiplayer. Makes me nostalgic for playing Stacraft BW in my highschool days lol

For those who didn't know, Mass Recall now works with the Started Edition, at least if you use the installer. This is due to some changes brought by the patch 3.0.
Spanish and French translation of v5.4.3 will be out very soon.

Does anyone else have problems starting the "Force of Arms" mission of the "Loomings" Prequel-Campaign? I don't get any briefing screen or anything. It just throws me into the mission, but the screen is darker than normal (you can barely see the base being attacked by zerglings) without any cutscene and I can't do anything, but watch the zerglings rip the base to shreds...I can provide a screenshot if it helps.
I started playing yesterday and everything was fine so far (except for a bit of texture flickering here and there).

I seem to be having a issue where I cannot load into any maps anymore. Everything was working fine after install and running through battlenet but now if I try start any missions it hangs with a black screen and as soon as I push a button it simply takes me back out to the log into battlenet screen.
Any ideas? Should I just try reinstalling the mod?
Thanks for any input and really appreciate all the hard work, had been wanting to play through SC1 again for a long time but found it a bit to clunky to play the original after playing SC2 for so long.
EDIT - actually seems to be fine loading through the editor so will just do that instead of doing so through battlenet.

Thanks for the mod Thus far, I'm about half way through the protoss campaign at the moment. Damn I hardly remembered these missions compared to zerg/terran.
Anyways, I found a big bug in protoss #7 Hallucenated Zeratuls are never targeted nor attacked by the AI.

I just finished episode 4, this is one of the best mod i have ever seen in my life, a great way to learn the Starcraft HISTORY, i played the original campaign and this is simply identical but with SC2 graphic!!!! Download this and make yourself the best Christhmas present ever! Vote: 9/10 (some bugs still present, and there are still things to improve for perfection)

I have the cinematics pack. I just now reinstalled it, but I still only see a "cinematics notes" option, not an option to enable actual original cinematics. Am I doing something wrong?

Well, it should look like this http://i.imgur.com/aEM1e4Q.jpg
Be sure to download the latest versions of the mod. It's possiblle that you did not install it properly for some reason.
@ Pokebunny I'm kinda sure that is written when your mod files are not at their proper place. If that & everything else is fine, it should work.

Friends, not meaning to diss the original mod, but anyone know if there's a way to open up the file and insert some custom portraits (in this case, a couple I downloaded for Duke and DuGalle)? This is an incredible effort all right, but dagnabbit, the lack of custom portraits for those two is a little irking. Thank you!
EDIT: I think I'm starting to make some progress with an MPQ Editor

Well, you could open the mod file, then save as components folder. Once its done you can change stuff I think then you need to save it again, but as mod this time. I don't know details though.

I'm on a Mac. Does that make a difference? I can't seem to get it to work. All mine says is "cinematics notes."

Vanilla Terran mission 7S SCVs randomly get stuck and go idle at the bottom of the minerals.
Edit: Not just at the bottom, all over the main minerals

Ah. The install instructions did not mention that I had to open the SCMR Campaign Launcher in the Starcraft II Editor, Test it, Save it, then copy the save over the old Starcraft Mass Recall save for it to work.

I watched jayborino's video then followed this and it did say that:

Everything worked first time for me even online, but I couldn't get the unit portraits to work. It was driving me crazy as I double and triple checked all the files, but then I realized I had 2d portraits on in options instead of 3d portraits. Problem solved! This mod is amazing, thanks.

Has anyone suggested working in Archon mode for co-op play? I have no idea how difficult it would be, but I have someone who I'd love to be able to play this with even if it wasn't the 2 base co-op like the map packs made for SC1+BW. Or, if it's already in production, I haven't been able to find any info about it.
Any information about this would be greatly appreciated!
