1) you love it
2) you like it
3) you think its the spawn of satan
i really think having more progressive would be better like being able to rank it from 1-10

I love your casts however if you don't mind I will provide you with a bit of constructive criticism. Please don't take it to heart, because I think that with a bit of work, you can really make it far! -You need to be a bit more decisive and specific with what you say. Please refrain from saying, "oh that unit, or the terran army." Please be specific. What unit? What is the name of the player? -Try not to interrupt your co-caster, and if you absolutely have to, be courteous and say something like, "hold that thought moletrap" -Similar to the previous point, when your co-caster finishes a sentence, try to make the cast flow well by acknowledging the last thing he says with your own. eg. Moletrap: Idra has now mustered up a scary amount of Mutas You: A scary amount indeed Moletrap...THEN say what you need to say -Sometimes silence can be golden, especially in the early stages of the game. You don't always need to talking about something. Of course too much silence is no good either, so you need to find that perfect balance. -The biggest criticism I have is pre-emptively calling the end of the game. eg "oh this player is so dead, expect a GG any second now" This is very anticlimactic and as a caster, it is your job to keep the entertainment flowing the whole game, even if it is blatantly obvious that the GG is about to come. However like I said, I think you are on the right track. Just work on the points listed above and I bet you will change from a 7/10 to a 10/10 in no time! On a side note, you should know that your strong points are your analysis of strategies and your observation skills of picking up upgrades and timing attacks and informing the audience about it. I absolutely love hearing your thoughts about player strategies, so keep up the good work!

Some more verbosity can't be too bad; a number of viewers might be new while others simply distracted multitasking around. Think how Tasteless kept bringing back into the commentary his old-school memes (Panda-Bear Guy) or game concepts (cheese) in the sc1 days. edit: typos

I absolutely love hearing your thoughts about player strategies, so keep up the good work! Great post man, I highlighted the points I feel strongly about too. About the first point, I feel much the same way. I don't like it at all when it's commentated as the terran player, say the players name. It's an easy and important point to improve your casting I feel. Also I know your english is great for not being your native language but if possible I would love for you to try and form your thoughts a little faster. It feels like you sometimes draw out your words to give you time to formulate your sentences. About the silence thing at the start of a match I dont agree but there is no need to commentate the opening build order. Instead I prefer interraction with the co-caster where they talk about the players, their recent achievements, particular play styles they may go with etc. To make a comfy atmosphere. You are doing great things for starcraft2 and we appriciate your efforts. This is just some tips that I feel would make you become an even better caster. Also not bashing on moletrap but I don't think he is an optimal partner for you since you are the same type of caster. I loved your casts with ToD! That was so awesome with your play-by-play and his great insights and epic accent. You need an analytical partner to take your casting to the next level.

I used to watch on german television giga thats how i learned about esports. So i started playing wc3 and following the scene. Thats how i first got to know your casting (in german) and it was just amazing. Love all those nice casts on gamesport.de . Now ,you working for gom is so great because all my favorite casters are now working for gomtv.net tastosis and you of course. Your doing a great job over there first of all. The only thing that i would love you to improve upon if you have the time ,is when you give stats of the players to add what kind of style they are using mostly. I don't know if you can find that out somewhere very quickly but that would be great. e.g. those games that naniwa played where so interesting to watch because you talked to him beforehand and knew what his game plan was. Those casts where then so amazing because the time where nothing rly important happened in the game you where able to fill the time with extremely useful information. And when something important happened you where able to switch back to normal casting. Hope this helps. Keep doing what you doing. <3 from germany.

Example, Morrow vs Tassadar: + Show Spoiler + You kept emphasizing that the double Stargate play didn't really do that much damage and that Morrow's economy and supply was fine afterwards, but there are so many other factors that you weren't considering. Sure, Morrow retained his Drone count, but he lost his 3rd, spent tons of minerals/drones on spore crawlers and lost tons of Queens (larva producing units). And even tho he defended it (which was pretty impressive considering he wasn't initially prepared), Tassadar still had all his air units which gave him superior map control and more opportunities to do even more damage. It was basically GG after the 3rd went down, and you thought that it didn't do all too much.

1. When you get excited, you tend to cut off your co-caster. Also, your analysis suffers and is sometimes incorrect, but I think that's more because of nerves/excitement than actually not understanding what is going on. 2. You often make a prediction only to have it be wrong, and rather than admit it was wrong, you just flip flop excitedly to what actually happened. Why not say something like, "oops, not quite"? Not just you, lots of casters do this but you could be a fresh face if you made a little tweak! I'll continue to watch and hope for more entertaining casting! Thank you for providing it!

First of all I think you're doing rather well for a non-native, and the amount of games you're casting is simply astounding. Please try and work on your English accent though, you're getting awfully german when excited :p And try to read up on your English culture, I used to love your random interjections of Schiller in your German casts, it would be acceptable to hear you quote Tennyson after someone's failure to properly split the T or something. Whatever you do don't do 'over 9000' and rubbish from that 'film' 300. Glhf in Korea ![]()
