Any community needs people like Naniwa and Idra otherwise everything would just be boring. Would MLG be the same without Idra ragequitting? HELL NO Is Naniwa pissing off Koreans a great thing? Ofc it is Now all Koreans will want to beat him in Code S, that's gonna be great.

Once he gets bounced from Code S, he won't get back in. And I hope other tournaments have learned that he won't put on good games if he has lost and not invite him.

Yes, because this situation completely sheds light on internal business that happened between naniwa and complexity. /sarcasm

No. The game didn't matter so why care at all? Why play it in the first place? Naniwa for president!

I'm sure everyone here would keep on working, not saying a word and show their best performance despite not getting payed. Personally I'd spit in my employers face and walk out of there. Well personally I would (and have) stayed without the pay and still done an exemplary job. But that's just because I'm a fucking exceptional employee. ![]() Not sure the analogy fits entirely though.

A professional player be it football or SC2 should play to win. It is not his job to go out and entertain, it is his job to win. If him winning isnt what you look forward to then Naniwa isnt the guy you should root for. The job of a pro whatever, be it footballer, baseball player, SC2 player is to COMPETE, not just win. Yes I want to see my favorite teams and/or players win of course. But primarily I want to see them try their damn hardest to win and show some damn heart and passion for the game. If you are only a fan of team or player(s) when they win, and don't watch them when they are losing but at least are trying their hardest, then that's being a bandwagoner, not a true fan.

You're frustrated because you lost ? That's fine, I would be too. But I don't say "screw it" when I still have things to do. Naniwa just wants to do the things that benefits himself, not thinking for a second of the viewers, the fans, the tourney and so on. No wonder so many people are calling him unprofessional. He's just extremely selfish and doesn't seem to care. Such a child. And how sad is that some people blame the system and not naniwa. The system is what it is, you don't enter it thinking you're not going to apply by the rules set by it. It was not up to naniwa to say "hey the system is stupid and this game doesn't matter, so i'm not going to play it". At least try something that have some chances of success. And who cares if it was done before at DH, it's still bad.

Terrible comparison. Clearly you're not interested in the job anymore. Apparently Naniwa still wants to compete in Korea (hint: the GSL).

Saying his fans would not be pleased if he tried half hearted is plain stupid, i'm pretty sure most people turn on the gomtv player to see good game between good players, regardless of the stakes. I can still remember him leaving a showmatch with morrow because there was no prizemoney involved. Whether you like it or not, he plays the game for himself, not for his fans or w/e. You can flame him for it but he couldn't care less.
