It's something you do or it's some random hating? It's not random man, think your acts. There are more then enough similar cases by different players throwing matches that did actually matter and no other time has the community blown up similarly to this time. Who remembers FXOz proxy-2 gating half heartedly game 4 on daybreak in the last GSL Code A finals, whilst being 3 games down. It was pretty obvious that Oz was mentally spent and basically admitted defeat and did some half-assed cheese to just get the series over with. It was a terrible game for the spectators. Nobody ever talked about it, or even remembers it, yet it was for a Code S seed and a whole bunch of money. Was that wrong by Oz? No, i don't think so. Starcraft 2 is primarily a mental game and if you are mentally spent then you will only end up embarassing yourself in a long game. Trying to avoid this is only natural. So why is this such a big deal then?I think it's fair to say that people just love to hate on NaNi, for whatever stupid reason that may be. Double standards exist in every community i guess.

You deserve a temp ban for that post. Have you not been following the shitstorm carefully, at all?

I have seen plenty of games near the end of a season with no playoff implications where a team will play their B team players. No one cares because the games don't matter. I think if Naniwa wanted to forfeit they should have let him. I guess that option wasn't available before the game so he basically forfeited in the game. B team players playing can be akin to trying out a new build, new unit combinations. It doesn't signify flat out not trying.

I don't think thats true, if nestea could advance by winning against nani I'm pretty sure he would try to crush him.

during MLG, during the pre interview of blizzard cup and now by throwing the game... taking a game from nestea would have stayed, it should be motivation only to face the zerg god. Hell, anyone would be honored to play him... It reminds me of NASL and Painuser letting Boxer wait forever, and never showed up. Respect for your opponent, teams, sponsors, fans and viewers, that's all we ask. its not like it was a BO7...

I have to agree with Idra here, meaningsless matches should not be played - Showmatches should be seperated from real tournament matches... And the koreans should get off their high horses.. seems like they dont like the fact that Naniwa beat their best players in MLG.

However, what I cannot understand is that Naniwa didnt predicted what would happen if he did that. It's so obvious that many people would get very upset about it. He really lacks social skills.
