|
There WILL be a prize which Primadog will announce shortly
|
Done. My NASL Season 1 bracket failed horrifically, but I am much more savvy this time around. HuK's got this.

Huk Idra finals! I don't care who wins that..

Looks like I have HerO over IdrA in the finals. Looking forward to the matches!!

I have HerO vs Sen semi's with HerO winning and a Morrow vs Puma semi's with Puma winning for a DHW revenge match with Puma winning
|
NASL are a bunch of jerks, my two favorite players meet in the first round, hoping for whoever wins Brat_ok vs. Dimaga to take the tourney, should be fun.

already starting in 3 hours, time for a sound check? xD

Puma to get revenge against Hero in the final.
That's honestly a really tough bracket to predict...
EDIT: I'll slip in a little bit of reasoning out of boredom.
The left hand side of the brackets seem pretty standard, not going to explain those.. except maybe feeling dubious about Dimaga vs Sen result because Dimaga is a BEAST.
Voted Morrow over Mana since Morrow's group in the NASL had 3 strong protoss yet still achieved #1 spot.
Mana on the other hand has been struggling with zerg it seems. Had an average group showing in ESWC, got 2-0d by biGs (Z). Came 2nd in the tournament but lost to Stephanos, which has no shame, yet he won PvPs to get up to that point.
Probably a mistake to write Thorzain off against Demuslim, but he got eliminated in ESWC against ClouD in the first round of the bracket play. Demuslim on the other hand has taken a huge break recently, and I'm basing my vote on national pride (lol) and his strong NASL showing.
Demuslim vs Morrow.. Demuslim's TvZ is incredibly strong, and consistently beats Idra when they play. Can't use the excuse that they practice together since Idra stated they don't practice that much together due to hitting each other in tournaments. Very possibly Morrow could take it too, but I'll give the edge to Demuslim <3.
Puma vs Demuslim.. I'd give the edge to Puma because he's Korean, because Demuslim was recently on a long break and that Puma's just achieved a 2nd place finish at DHW plus is a previous NASL winner.
Puma vs Hero I simply picked Puma due to an incredibly close series at DHW and I feel Puma is looking for revenge. Hero may be more jet-lagged too since he returned to Korean before the NASL finals.
EDIT2: God damn you Primadog, it seems you win this time..

my predictions
I think it's sheth vs puma that will be the decisive match up for the right side of the bracket, I expect the winner of that match to make it to the finals.

IM surpirsed to see that not many people think MorroW will beat MaNa

My predictions - http://www.bracketmaker.com/predict.cfm?parent=780213&user=425721
Round of 16
Hero vs Hwangsin - hero is just too solid and fresh off of a Dreamhack win
Winner: Hero
Huk vs Hasuobs - Huk is most likely the favourite - but has not been playing his A game recently, with a loss against seiplo - gonna be really close though
Winner: Hasuobs
Brat_OK vs DIMAGA - seeing Brat_OK games in the Blizzcon, I have to pick DIMAGA to win especially with Brat_OK losing on xel'naga against DIMAGA at Blizzcon
Winner: DIMAGA
TT1 vs Sen - have not recently seen much games from either player - Sen is just too good to count him out - TT1 has kind of fallen off the radar
Winner: Sen
Morrow vs Mana - teamkill, might see unsual strats - have no idea who to pick
Winner: Morrow
DeMuslim vs ThorZaIN - ThorZaIN has not been doing as well recently getting knocked out early in many major tournaments - but it is TvT, and ThorZaIN's TvT is nothing to scoff at - DeMuslim has also shown us he is pretty good, especially during his run at MLG Raleigh, taking out KawaiiRice, TLO, and almost taking out Nada as well - gonna be pretty close
Winner: ThorZaIN
IdrA vs Strelok - Strelok is overall pretty good and plays a pretty decent macro TvZ, but IdrA is a beast at macro - IdrA has beaten better Terran players than Strelok, with wins against Puma and ThorZaIN - has to see if IdrA';s mental game is up to par
Winner: IdrA
Puma vs Sheth - Puma TvZ is pretty scarey with wins against big names such as Ret, Nerchio, and Sheth himself - Sheth has not won against Puma everytime they met up in international Tournaments
Winner: Puma
Round of 8
Hero vs Hasuobs - too close to call
Winner: Hero
DIMAGA vs Sen - ZvZ is very coin flippy - DIMAGA sometimes can choke and make poor decisions when playing
Winner: Sen
Morrow vs ThorZaIN - teamkill, might see unusual strats - I think ThorZaIN would have the advantage, with terran training at the SlayerS house
Winner: ThorZaIN
IdrA vs Puma - really close to call - heads up in tournaments it a tie with 2 wins and 2 losses a piece against each other - if IdrA can keep his mental game together I think advantage would go to IdrA
Winner: IdrA
Round of 4
Hero vs Sen - haven't seen much of Sen recently except at dreamhack - Hero's PvZ is insanely good - last series between them at dreamhack Hero 2-0 Sen
Winner: Hero
ThorZaIN vs IdrA - TvZ is not ThorZaIN's best matchup - did almost take out DRG at valencia - ThorZaIN has not been playing his A games recently, failing to make it out of group stage at dreamhack, lsoing to Naama - IdrA also failed to make it out of group stage as well at dreamhack - IdrA has a pretty amazing TvZ with wins against Bomber
Winner: IdrA
Finals
Hero vs IdrA - Hero's best matchup PvZ - IdrA always had a problem playing against protoss
Winner: Hero

Something smaller than those giant banners.
