Generally I like the new units, but the protoss units seem a bit too gimmicky compared to the terran and zerg ones :/

they fucking leave the marauder untouched?! F you dustin browder, give the protoss a non-gimicky unit that can deal with marauders. i dont wanna cast a paladin-shield on mineral patches, i want to kill workers.

i hope that they will revoke certain changes, this seems rather disappointing to me.

Nah, Protoss having two units removed, 3 added. = 1 more unit.
Terran having thor removed, new thor added, transformation mode for hellion added, and a new building. = zero more units, 1 new building.
Zerg having overseer removed, two units added. = 1 more unit

The hydra speed change is stupid. God forbid zergs have a single unit that moves as slow as everyone else's shit (off creep of course).

As a toss player I'm not sure how I few about the new units. Another anti light air unit that won't do well again vikings. Other units kind of weird. Melee mind control might be be hard to pull off. More nexus spells are exciting.

Zerg seemed to got the new cool units.

Terran tempest is mybe to stop mass lings/zeals. New thor should help stop mass muta and make mech work in tvp.

Mass recall on nexus will be very interesting.

Also, does it unlock with research at twilight? or what?

Really curious on casting cost (75 or 100?)
50 would be way too OP

Has great defensive and offensive capabilities.

I guess we may need to hotkey each of our nexus to individual hotkey though. Would hate to get dropped in main and accidently recall defenses to my third.

the reason why marines beat interceptors, is because by 99/100 times by the time carriers are reached, marines are 3-3. 3-3 units that counter another unit that is 0-0 ofcourse will lose

Marines totally destroyed carriers in BW too. The reason you couldn't go marines was because of storm / reavers raping them. Anything with high dps just kills all the interceptors.. mass hydra countered carrier >.>

Frankly, adding new units when the first batch of SC2 is not even balanced yet seems rushed and stupid. At least, zerg got some interesting units. Terran units look either useless (transformer hellion?) or retarded (a static defense that can't defend...) but terran was already a pretty compete race, i guess it's not so worrying. On the other hand, protoss units are just gimmicks. But if you can recall with the nexus, that would be the most OP spell in the history of RTS.

Anyone knows how much this is going to cost?

If Protoss got Recall on their nexus that is fucking idiotic. Auto defend any nexus on the map. LoL

It'll definitely go through some balance tweaks in Beta. I bet by the end of it it'll cost 150 energy and only recall like 8-10 units.
