That is honestly a sweet unit. Replacing the overseer with something that has multiple spell utility (without really overlapping the infestor) and looks awesome was a great idea. Swarm Host B- It's a fun idea for a unit, I just don't see it being incredibly useful. Moving Burrowed Banelings D- This is going to be incredibly imbalanced for a week before players realize that they need detection everywhere, and then no one will use it. Replicant B+ I like units with niche uses. They COULD win you a battle, but the long term benefits of stealing a worker or some casters seems even more useful. I think they'll make games more interesting. Oracle C+ Is slowing down mining really preferred when killing workers might take similar effort? I sort of like the concept (feels right to have these abilities under P rather than Z control), but I'm not entirely convinced this will be useful. Tempest B The anti-muta ability is good for P to have and the unit looks great (the design is nice for a capital ship since you can see what's under it), but I'm not sure this should really be replacing the mothership. It doesn't really perform the same sort of role and I doubt I would prefer it to the mothership if given the choice between the two. EDIT: Never mind, I see this isn't a mothership-type unit. Thought it was huge and unique. Warhound D- Poor design (looks like a tall scv). Function overlaps thor (please don't remove the thor for this piece of garbage). Seems like an all-around boring unit that doesn't offer new micro possibilities and has an indistinct role. Battle Hellion C- Ok, it adds a little micro and decision making. But really, were hellions not good enough before? The fact that they die to banelings or roaches fairly quickly is my only saving grace vs these bastards. It's also a pretty lazy change. Shredder C Holds the unimpressive distinction of being the least awful new Terran unit. I like that it creates a new type of gameplay dynamic, but doesn Terran really need more static defense? With siege tanks, bunkers, turrets and PD's? It seems a bit superfluous to me. | ||
