The registration email is reported as possible phishing by Gmail. I don't know what you did, but they're angry at you :p
I'd thank you for the site and say that it works great, but I decided to register right when Blizzard does a rolling restart on the EU servers so I can't find my bnet profile page. I'll report back with some feedback when I can.
Edit: I'm consistently getting these messages when uploading a replay: + Show Spoiler + A PHP Error was encountered
Severity: Notice
Message: Trying to get property of non-object
Filename: controllers/scii.php
Line Number: 888 A PHP Error was encountered
Severity: Warning
Message: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/dmccrone/statcraft.net/system/core/Exceptions.php:170)
Filename: helpers/url_helper.php
Line Number: 543
Everything works well after that, however.

I get the same messages when uploading.
New layout looks good, I had a little hard time finding the upload button at first.
|
Looking good! However after using the mass replay uploader I'm getting this message all of the website.
A PHP Error was encountered Severity: Notice
Message: Undefined index: v_W
Filename: controllers/scii.php
Line Number: 514
Edit: after deleting all games vs CPU and games which couldn't be ranked, all seems to work fine again.

It looks like there are some issues with the Sc2Ranks data being pulled. I'm looking into it now. I'm not sure if the API is down or what, I'll try and resolve it asap and put in some checks so these error messages are cleaner.
Sorry!
|
Hmm, seems to have fixed itself. I guess SC2Ranks was glitching briefly or something.
I'll add some checks in place for when its down it skips over trying to add that data.
Bromazepam, thats interesting it's reported as phishing. Thanks for the heads up. I'll check into why. Maybe it doesn't like names like StarCraft since Blizzard has a ton of phishing problems in WoW. That error should be resolved now that Sc2Rnaks is working again. Please let me know if it continues. My guess is it was because of the restart as you mentioned. I definitely need to clean error messages when the battle.net parser fails. I'll get on that asap.
GloriousFS, thanks for the heads up. It's supposed to reject games against the CPU. I'll have to test why thats failing. That was definitely the problem though. Hmmm.
I'll have an update out tonight with custom batch passwords and some of these bugs fixed. Thanks again for all the support and feedback.

Fixed a bug that would throw an error if Sc2Ranks didn't report proper data.
Updated the batch upload page to allow custom passwords!

Is the Add Friend button missing? Me and a friend of mine tried to test this website but we couldn't find a way to add each other as friends.
|
So where exactly do I input my batch upload password?

Should be below the username. Try to scroll down or lengthen the window.

I uploaded my replays using sc2gears but they did not record the league wins stats(bronze, silver, etc) with the exception of one game that was on NA.

Thanks, but my display (a 13" MacBook Pro) does not support anything higher than 1280x800 and I can't resize the window any bigger... Anyone got any solution for this?

Wow, I cannot believe I accidentally removed this in the design update. What a botch! It's back, really sorry about that!

This has to do with the SC2Gears API not reporting the data. Either it hasn't parsed your opponent since he did his placement match, or their API is down. I've been seeing it a lot lately for both reasons. I'm working on an edit page now so you can fix the data yourself. I wish there was something else I could do, but I just have to deal with the results it gives me. Sorry.
For now you can delete the games on the Game History page and reupload when the API is working (test with 1 or 2). That's a real pain though, I know. If you want a mass delete PM me your profile and I can purge them in bulk in the database.
I, and others, have asked Blizzard to create an official API like WoW so this won't be a problem anymore. They say they would like to, but have no immediate plans. If this continues I may write my own parser so I can ensure it's a bit more reliable.

Man that sucks. Sadly it's an Sc2Gears problem, so you'll have to get support in the SC2Gears thread.
One thing you can try is entering your username, then hit tab and maybe it will move to the next field where you can enter your password even without seeing it. It might not work, but is worth a shot! Good luck!

hi,
there´s a problem with the map names in different languages. "Tal'darim AltarLE" is called "Altar der Tal'darim LE" in german and it didnt get added to the statistics when uploading the replays.
link to my profile: http://www.statcraft.net/user/1034
if you need translation for the map names i can translate it for you tomorrow(at least for the german map names).
edit: it works fine for the map stats but the ladder stats are wrong.
|
I can't find the upload button anymore. Is sc2gears the only way to upload replays now???
|
Yeah Gooht I need to rewrite how ladder maps are singled out somehow, it does mess up on other localizations. Feel free to PM me the german names and I can add german support pretty fast.
Garnet I moved it to a floating footer that appears on all pages. I figured something like Upload should be on every page, but I wanted it to stand out from the header navigation. I guess I failed there... XD Sorry! You can access it here if you still can't see the link. http://www.statcraft.net/scii/upload I'll see about making it more obvious as you are the second person to comment on not being able to find it.

Update
Sorry for the late update. I got real sick with some kind of stomach bug and missed my Tuesday goal.
Light update this week from the looks of it, but I laid down a lot of background code for new features. This updates main feature is the addition of a game specific information page. Click below for an example.
http://www.statcraft.net/game/3120
I'll be adding APM graphs shortly too. I just need to fiddle with it all still. The data is there.
Every game in your feed now has a link to the more info page. So anyone can see it.
This seems like a small one. But I put some code in place to allow replay editing, I just need to finalize some form checks to ensure proper data. Expect that for next Tuesday.
Additionally I made other small changes, including: - Added upload and add links to the left nav as some users didn't notice the footer ones (requested by Garnet) - changed the look of tables slightly to look nicer - updated the site encoding so special characters from other languages appear correctly
I also made some code changes to have proper ladder maps for every language, I just need to write a script to update the 30,000 games already entered and I'll get that into Tuesdays update as well.
If anyone finds any more bugs or has any more feedback, please pass it along.

Update
I added APM graphs to all the individual game pages. You can see an example of it in action here: http://www.statcraft.net/game/14916
![[image loading]](http://www.statcraft.net/assets/images/apm.png)
I also added the ability to edit game information after the fact. So you can now fix any mistakes, add in ladder points to replays, or add any data the SC2Ranks.com parser couldn't pull.
I'm still working on adding the localization and hope to have it in soon. I apologize for the delay.
Please let me know if you find any errors.
No bug reports in the last week, which is great news. My next plan is to work on the community aspect more. I'm gonna to add a notification system, commenting on games, wall posts, wall post comments, friend search, etc. Give the site more of a use outside just looking at stats.
After that I want to start on Team Pages in some fashion. So any suggestions there would be more than welcome.
Hope everyone is enjoying the site!

I signed up a while ago, but without batch upload it was just too much of a hassle. Now that it's been implemented, this site's been pretty easy to use. It's mostly just an online version of sc2gears, but I like that because it makes it easier to share my progress with my friends. The data's presented in a much more readable fashion too.
Keep the updates comin!

Agreed.
Also, have you ever considered attempting to code in some sort of way to have something like a pie chart of stats, like winrates and how often you face a certain MU on the ladder?
