They get are way over-exposed in terms of publicity. well, all this exposure mainly happened from unintentional incidents and community speculation. i dont think that EG is being "try hard" to get attention, but its the community who love/hate/controverse their acts and make a huge news out of it. alot of people love drama ![]() and EG gives it almost every time...

EG seems to me like a great choice, not to take anything away from other teams. Top players, top personalities, Anna Prosser. ![]()

Also, free downloads / screenings for donors would be nice lol We're aiming for summer of next year, but like Blizzard, things don't always go according to plan (film production actually is very similar to game releases). There are DVDs for donors, and I'm more than willing to swap out a digital download for international donors to save shipping, I just have to talk with my producer about a few things before I put it out for everybody. I can get a bit old school and wary of that kind of thing sometimes, when I first started making films that wasn't a possibility so it takes getting used to. The thing with screenings is that if you are interested in submitting to festivals you have to be careful about your premiere status and the number of screenings you've already had. It's a complicated thing that takes some figuring out, and I didn't want to promise something that would hurt the film's chances. I'm absolutely interested in having screenings (online and off) for donors before everything is said and done. I just don't know when they would be right now because I would have to finish formulating our festival strategy and have more information.

A feature length documentary, is that one that lasts like 90 minutes? After all the premiers and official release, is it going to be free to watch?

And to answer one of the questions: "What do you find interesting about esports, SC2, and/or EG?" I have been a huge sports nut all my life, both as a fan and a competitor. It's the exact same things that draws me to SC2. The competition, the entertainment, watching and being amazed at the raw talent and/or hard work in action, bumping heads at the highest level. What I find interesting about EG is that they are more "in touch" with the community than any other teams (barring Team Liquid). The team has profiles like InControl, Idra, Demuslim, Huk, etc They have a team house, they have tournaments, they're going to Korea. They are headed in the same direction I want esports/SC2 to go. Forwards.

Example: -full size poster signed by all the members of Evil Geniuses SC2 -Personal mention on the @evilgeniuses twitter account -EG Mousepad signed by all the members of the team -A visit to the EG Lair in Phoenix to game with the team and see a special screening of the film. This makes me a little bit suspicious about the potential EG involvement in the production of this movie. Of course they need to give their agreement before you could do this movie, but how independent is your team? Are any of the members of your team in any way or form affiliated to EG gaming? Did you contact EG about your project or did EG search for someone to realize this project? As someone who is deeply involved in marketing and promotion i primarly see this movie as a way to aquire new sponsors and help in future contract negotiations. I'm not implying that this is a way to let the community pay for something thats primarly used by EG to promote themselves. I'm just in general very sceptical about community-funded movie projects which focus too much on certain persons and companies and not the community as a whole.
