congrats to sixjax gaming for taking this decision.
This is not unique to E-sports. Plenty of young-immature tewnty-somethings populate normal sports making millions of dollars and acting immaturely (NBA). But I do agree that we need "ethics and professionalism" in SCII.
I love how the team that artosis is on is releasing players for lack of professionalism.

where is that quote from?
Artosis disconnected in game 3 of a bo3 vs slush in the TLI2 when he was winning, referee told him to regame, then he threw a temper tantrum. He lost the regame and slush went on to win the tournament and he raged nonstop for an hour or so
And afterwards, the TL admins admitted that, in retrospect, Artosis was in an unlosable position. If he simply a-moved, there would've been no way for Slush to beat him. Artosis had good reason to be mad. The TL admins just said that there was no way that they could've known that for sure in the middle of the tournament, and they felt the safest thing was a regame.
that's actually really sad for artosis, he probably lost the re-game because he felt he didn't need to
I sympathize with maj0r, broken promises sucks. If SJ really thinks SC2 is a profession they should be more professional about keeping their promises? Though sometimes you can't, in which case I understand that maj0r wants to leave.

I actually feel bad for Artosis. Day9 always says it's okay to get angry when you lose but when you lose because of idiotic ruling? That's just sad. Not saying the rage was warranted, but it sure isn't right to blame him for doing so.
Anyway, you guys (all 25 pages of you) judge to quickly. I hope you realise that we, as spectators, know about 10% of what actually goes on behind the games. The neutral stance is always the safest. I wish both major and sixjaxgaming good fortune. GL.
Breach of contract can be a lot of things....could be missed practices, could be not representing your sponsors in X fashion...it 'could' be a lot of possibilities and I doubt very much sixjax will release specific examples no matter what Major says. What is expected of you with a contracted team is why you saw a player like destiny who likes to act out do the smart thing and not join a team where he knew he'd probably breach the contract on a regular basis unless he drastically changed his mo.
Frankly it doesn't surprise me with the amount of BM and outburst he's known for that he wouldn't of cleaned up his act to keep himself on the team.
Like others have said, he is only 18 and when day9, artosis, tasteless, inc etc were that age they did stupid things too but now you all love them... There is more than 1 side to every story.

EG I would say is his best option. They see all publicity as good publicity, he should fit right in there tbh.
Sucks for sixjax that they had to "lose" their best player though.
I doubt he'll get to EG since they recently got HuK and that was costly from what I know. I wonder if the team he mentioned would accept him, even after this. Would be funny to see but, though EG is my fav team (along with liquid) so I don't know if I really want him to be in it atm lol
EDIT: I think major is a good player, but atm I don't know if I'd like him in the team because the team is already getting used to a new player and already had the extra cost and everything, once all that's settled down I'd love to see him in EG, as long as he's kept up his practice, etc
SJ don't really have much going on anymore, aside from like two or three players there isn't much happening there that I've seen, which sucks since more teams in esports is definitely good ^_^

I think it is a good decision by Major (SJ managment). If they didn't give him a chance to develop as a player, why would he stay in that team. The worst that could happen to a competitive player is when he has skills and will to improve, but don't have resources. If SJ didn't want to send him to Korea, they should told him at first, not deceive him. Sure, SJ is childish sometimes, but he is a sick good player and should not waste time when it is unnecessary.
These teams are fucking retarded, Just Send Juan to korea for a gd year, He will be fine. He will become a monster and destroy people. Doesn't anybody understand all Juan wants to do is go to fucking korea.

So weird that people like Drewbie are being giving the opportunity while Major is much more talented.
Well I dont want this to come off as trite, but to be entirely honest I completely saw this coming. Whether GosiTerran really decided to leave before he was told to leave or not is besides the point. The fact he decided to switch teams again shows no one should really take the chance on this kid.
I tip my hat to everyone who predicted this in the last team change thread, still with princesses track record i doubt he will last long in korea. Unless he really cleans up his act.

I like how NSHoSeo is in a godly position in GSTL . . . and almost all of their players had/have to plow through the grueling Code A qualifiers instead of getting seeded from the really easy open seasons.
sixJax is a clueless team, I dont see them being relevant much longer, if they don't choose to invest money in their best player then they are not doing their duty as a team.
not surprised at all to see this, but I hope major actually goes to korea someday. He has wanted to for a long time, and he seems to at least respect the koreans. Plenty of koreans are BM, but unlike idra when he was in korea they publicly show manner. A korean house might actually fit him well (he has motivation to sit and train 10 hours a day). I feel major wouldn't try to do the same shit to a korean team out of respect/it's his dream.
Every foreign team he's on I would expect the same behaviour.
didn't read all the thread for obvious reasons, but read about half. to me it seems the WBC deal is a huge non-isue.
