People have tried to work with Major before, read the comments in this thread. I think people are actually suprised he lasted this long more then suprised that he is gone.

Can't wait for State of the Game this week. I wanna hear Artosis's opinion.

Sixjax has always seemed very sketchy (ownership/management not the players). It seems like one of those teams that wasn't destined to last very long and only looked to get some quick advertisement by recruiting people like artosis as a part of the team.
While some say major is immature, I see why they parted ways. If a team offers to send you to korea to some event and you do your part by qualifying for an event or a team house ( I believe he qualified for NSH house) and all you need is the support of a team thats promised you this but is now not willing to give you it, that's unfair and sketchy as hell on sixjax's part. Hell, their manager wont even answer why they didn't send any players to MLG this go around and seems to avoid answering questions that come from their own players.
Best of luck to both parties, but I think major came out ahead on this one while sixjax looks to be falling apart...

I'm sure he'll be accepted into RatZ, don't worry.

Hi, Major. I won't pretent that I know enough to judge you just from reading what others have to say about you, at all. I do, however, know that you're a really good player and a player that makes the tournaments, in which you take part in, always more exciting to watch. Good luck, Juan.

coLMajOr would be nice just to see the name(Colonel Major), and then he could practice in the MVP teamhouse. Sixjax has always been a bit off, their main sponsor makes money from scamming people on the internet and their whole deal with NrG was fairly messy.

congrats to sixjax gaming for taking this decision.
This is not unique to E-sports. Plenty of young-immature tewnty-somethings populate normal sports making millions of dollars and acting immaturely (NBA). But I do agree that we need "ethics and professionalism" in SCII.

Well on the one hand I'd like to see him end up on a Korean team. If he was in a Korean pro house environment and could deal with being in the environment then he would become an absolute beast.
On the other hand if he plays with one of their teams and ends up pulling the usual antics it might make Korean teams reluctant to take on foreign players in general.

If a team says they're willing to put you in korea and you do your part as a player by qualifying for the NSH team house then this team your on which PROMISED you a one way ticket to korea starts to backpedal and avoid answering questions thats a BIT sketchy don't you think? I wouldn't stick around if a team was taking back promises especially after you pulled your weight. Major is at fault for a lot of bm and immaturity, but take the blinders off and look at this situation from an unbiased point of view. He was basically screwed over and this team is collapsing under itself. "Releasing" major means nothing when the team will cease to exist in a few months. It's more of a PR stunt to look professional on their part because he's an easy scapegoat and they get some more publicity.

They have sent players to every MLG except Raleigh. Cocoa, Vibe, Major, DDE, Boxxahh and Skew were all in Anaheim.

Didn't they do really well in a GCPL or something?

Funny, I thought you said an actual team...

I don't know if this necessarily means SixJax is in trouble.... but Maj0r definitely had it coming if he continually broke the contract rules as stated by SJG.

this guy was so bm, it glad they released him!

first i thought LOL HE AGAIN then i read both statements and i rly feel like sixjax is the evil here in this game when they say "korea soon" always and then even when he can stay there for free not sending him its a huge ... madnessthing

If you want to see what kind of a "team" sixjax is, just visit their forums. Entirely spam bots. Disgraceful website for a disgraceful team.
