If Major hadn't been kicked out of ROOT he might very well be in coL right now and probably could've gone to Korea to the MVP house with Drewbie. :3

Artosis disconnected in game 3 of a bo3 vs slush in the TLI2 when he was winning, referee told him to regame, then he threw a temper tantrum. He lost the regame and slush went on to win the tournament and he raged nonstop for an hour or so

Actually that happened around May 2010. ._.

Juan has done dumb, uncouth things sure.. but is that really a big deal all said and done? I find it hard to believe that people are actually offended by him and willing to blacklist him or something. If major keeps winning he'll find a team.. its as simple as that. Look at any sport, good players always find teams regardless of their attitude, or behavior outside of the game.
Also what does everyone mean by saying Juan should be more "professional", or rather what are people implying.. that if Juan had better manners that Sj would have sent him to korea? Maybe if Juan had better manners he would have better macro, or Sj would have sent Vibe and DDe to mlg.. or perhaps IBM would sponsor Juan because he's so well mannered.
Sc2 is already successful.. and i'm 100% sure that if everyone was more well mannered it wouldn't make watching sc2 more fun. Starcraft's growth is from increasing #s of people watching.. Not guys like Major being polite and loyal to their team.

yes, actually
but then again, I also despise IdrA for his childish behaviour...and he is still a fan-favourite

I dislike major as much as the next person, but I don't really think he should be badgered about this decision. He is a very good player, one of the best. He has laid out his goals in front of him, and made them apparent to the teams he joins. If they agree to helping him fulfill his goals, and don't follow through with it, then I feel like he has the right to pursue other teams. Juan deserves to go to korea, he is, in my opinion, one of the few NON-KOREAN foreigners who could actually last a real long time there. He has the work ethic and the motivation to keep up with korean practice hours, and even now he has the skill to compete at their level.
I think his stint with sixjax should actually bring his reputation up a bit in everyone's books. You're all kinda harassing him just because of who he is, but if a Terran on his level, say DeMusliM for example, stopped getting support from his sponsors, he would most likely want to leave too right? No one would be upset with that. Top class players deserve top class support, that's what Major is after.

thats a shame..
would have at least liked major to have tried to sound at least somewhat professional in responding to SJG post. surprised it took this long tho heh

Have you ever been to Mexico? Do you know all about our school system and how things work around here? I doubt it because your post is very ignorant.
Sorry, that was in fact pretty ignorant of me. I haven't considered all the factors that would make it harder for Mexicans to learn English than for Europeans (read: every European country besides France).
I know nothing about the school and social system, so my post was pretty dumb.

Uh when boxer disconnected during this TSL or whatever on XNC, didn't they even take the time to reevaluate his position ingame along with his army comp and multiple scenarios of what would happen if he a-moved said army along with asking a panel of players on their opinion of who would of won said game at the time of disconnect? Seems like artosis got shafted there where as boxer got a very "dedicated" overlook in his situation. So yeah he obviously has a reason to be pretty upset ><.

Juan seems to be completely incapable of staying with a team for a longer period of time. How many teams has he been in in his SC career, including BW?

"Teams" in the foreigner sc1 scene were a joke (for the most part). They were nothing more than loyalty and a clan tag. As far as sixjax goes, he was offered a spot in korea and that's one of the main reasons he joined sixjax (the other being artosis). If a team doesn't come through then he has no reason to be on that team. I know I wouldn't want to be on a team that lied and avoided answering questions.

This is quite sad, Honestly they are blaming Terran's past history to divert attention away from the main problem. SixJax doesn't actually do anything or have the money to do much of anything with its players. When have you heard of Sixjax doing anything since they were announced as a player? Yes they have artosis, and vibe and mahai are occasionally successful, but all they get to do is go to mlg open bracket SOME of the time. Juan is their best player by far, and now they wouldn't even let him go to korea which is his singular goal.
