Nope, you will make money in prizes and once you level up your sponsors will pay a lot more. Probably a good move. It depends on if the guy you picked up is actually good.

Yes, that's exactly what I do. Buy them cheap with one good thing like vP, with high dedication and teamwork, and pump that on him and use him to boost you race. Plus you can use them as snipers in team leagues if their other stats are decent. One of my guys has okay stats but 8.9 vZ and no Z can touch him.

vX is also extremely important. Almost all the top chars have like ~8.5/8 but really great vX, at that point macro and micro are much less important and a player with like 3 less micro can win if he has +1 vX.

How do you increase the amount of training hours a player does?

I have a player with dedication 9.3, but only 8hours training per day, where as I've seen other players with the same dedication but 18hours training per day.

teamhouse is +3 training time, at level 3 you can buy staff that increases training time, and sponsors. level 3 idra gives +5 hours.

I know that some guys get 50+ from 1 streamer witch 4 average popularity.
On the other hand I've put 6 streamers, have 8 average popularity, and got only 90 :/

Beware of high Salary players for low prices in the open market. I accidentaly bought someone for a ridiculous salary and a low buy out. Now I'm going to default on my debt and have to restart. Lesson learned though.

Edit: Putting my best players with low salary's up on the market for a low price so they don't get deleted and go to waste. Grab em fast. Put them all up for >1 hour

Merch income depends on your average popularity and your team level.

It does not depend on how many people set to "streaming," training streaming increases popularity, but if you have a 10 popularity then its useless.
