In any case, the new maps look interesting. I see a lot of bitching here about how awful they are from people who have probably never played on them or have spent an hour or two on the PTR. I think it's sad that the community can't give the new maps the benefit of the doubt. I mean, DQ is gone. Scrap is gone. Slag Pits is gone. This is obviously a huge improvement in the map pool. I'd much rather see a very large list of quality maps that we could thumbs up (I really want to play the maps I watch on GSL), but I can at least be happy that the map pool isn't full of the kind of horrible maps we've been playing on the last year. | ||

EDIT: Also looking at these maps, looks like I'll have to 2 base all in every game as Zerg, there is nothing that I've seen which indicates a third base play ![]() ![]() | ||
