I think shattered's close positions are worse than metal and the macro games aren't as good. Poor metal, Blizzard finally took the grandfather map to the nursing home to retire

It is a sad news that Metalopolis is removed. I don't like any of the new maps. To be honest I don't like any maps that were presented as new for the first time and those presented now: Slag Pits, Backwater Gulch, Typhon Peaks and Nerazim Crypt, Searing Crater, Antiga Shipyard, Abyssal Caverns. They are all the same, standard, boring 4 players maps. Probably only Shakuras was original in many ways. In my opinion "original" sc2 maps were good in this meaning that every and each had something special, something original, I always new there is a few special ways of playing on it.
Blizzard seems to believe that those new maps can be divided into rush and macro maps? Seriously? I mean, SERIOUSLY? Boring maps... Bring back Metalopolis, give us more GSL and some ICCUP maps and stop uploading your own. They suck!

This thread makes me realize most of the SCII community just loves to complain. Let's give the new maps a shot, they are a lot better than the last ones Blizzard made, and honestly metal was not very balanced.

I'm happy about the deleted maps. Actually now there's only 2 maps i dont want to play on, just Backwater Gulch and Close Position Shattered Temple. All 4 removed maps were reasons i hardly played on ladder the last few weeks.
