I'm really pumped to see him play in MLG! Choya's proven himself to be a good player already by qualifying from Code B, and from being top 20 on the K ladder. Do anyone honestly think that beating a bunch of foreigners is going to prove anything? Well it's not enough for me (even if the qualification for code A is quite impressive), i just saw 1 match in code A from him, so i want to see more. When he was in code S, he was not that impressive do you remember?
Being in Code S is impressive.

thats very nice news...I think choya is underrated .... hemanaged to qualify for code a something a lot of players didnt manage to do.....I think he can do well at mlg

Soo great to see more koreans to MLG, and a really sweet "move" with the shirt. Awesome!

I love Choya, he's a funny guy.

FXO is the best. Boss is awesome.
will be interesting
|
That's awesome, Choya seems like a cool guy, good on him for being so accomodating for FXO, I hope he does great in the open bracket!
|
Although i don't really like this playstyle. From what i've seen, he looks like a very supportive coach and a great/funny guy.

I dont understand the people saying they do not like this decision. Please learn to READ topics before you post. Hes doing this out of the kindness of his heart for a person he holds in high regard, not because he thinks hes sending MLG their next champion. They clearly have created a mutually beneficial relationship while in Korea and Boss is doing this as a thank you gesture to Choya.
If you think this is a bad idea, either A. You didnt read the original post, or B. You are an idiot.
The competition just keeps getting better for MLG Anaheim :D :D :D

Choya vs. Idra would be a pretty awesome match after what Idra has said about him.

oh this is really cool. Well done sir, you continue to prove you live up to your gamertag.

So, if we go from past example, it is safe to assume they will and Idra will get 2-0'd.

What a nice gesture. Fxo fighting!

Good gesture and I hope he does well, but I'm really glad this is not part of the GSL exchange, as I don't think Choya is a top level player.

Calling Choya a top class player just seems wrong. Yes he is a good coach. But he will get absolutely stomped @ mlg and he should. If korea's worst beats our best then were doing a lot of things wrong. gl to him and FXO.
My other thought is that FXO did want another coach for the Mental part of the game. If they brought a long choya for coaching and expertise then this would make complete sense too me. Wow I just can't say how completely wrong you are in this post, choya is not near one of Koreas worst...hes a professional player and a coach, and impressive feat in itself, I don't see him getting stomped at all, I think he has a very good chance making it out of the open bracket. Sorry but I mean, your post just really makes a lot of wrong points towards Choya, The Korean scene and MLG.
TheBestfOu, BitbybitPrime and... who else is worse then Choya? IM not saying that being a professional player and a coach isn't impressive. Of course it is. If BoSs wants to do it as a friendship thing then all the power too him lol. But if Choya 4gates his way through all the foreigners and open bracket then thats a really bad sign as far as the foreigners skill level

Choya made through the Code A qualifier, twice. Choya is top 20 KR ladder. So yeah he probably could do pretty well on MLG..In terms of skill level he's probably much better than moon and most of the foreigners.
I would really be interested too see who he had to qualify through given that the people who knocked him out of Code A were not that good. Obviously as artosis says the Code A qualifiers are super hard so obviously its a feat but until i see the people he played against if there is any then...
Top 20 KR ladder doing 4 gates... yeah we dont have anyone like that on the NA Ladder...
He could do well at MLG but i guarentee there isn't anyone in the foreigner scene who is say "oh crap Choya is coming ... i better watch out" If anyone has watched the GSL (which they all have) they will know that CHoya will do a 4 gate or a 2 base allin.

You sir are a BOUWSE! Thanks a lot for bringing a top player to a top tournament!
|
Let's go Choya! I call him CrazyToss for talking to himself in the booth. Fighting!
|
FXO! You're amazing. Good Luck to choya because I know he hasn't been doing too well in the GSL recently and hopefully a good placing at MLG will do him and his team well!
