But he will get absolutely stomped @ mlg and he should. If korea's worst beats our best then were doing a lot of things wrong. gl to him and FXO. My other thought is that FXO did want another coach for the Mental part of the game. If they brought a long choya for coaching and expertise then this would make complete sense too me. Well he made it through code A qualifiers, which is harder than the MLG open bracket. I think Choya's performance is going to be interesting in terms of the foreigner/korean arguement. So far all we've seen are the best Korean's vs the best foreigners, but I want to see what level of foreigner, if any at all is able to, it will take to beat Choya. I wouldn't bother looking for reasons for why Boss wants to send him. He's given reasons in the op, and I'm inclined to believe him.

The liquid oGs partnership came about because the Liquid players needed somewhere to live and practice. FXO have the GOM house and, from what qxc has said, I don't think they're planning on being in Korea for more than a for more than a few months, although I guess if some of them wanted to stay maybe they might end up staying with fOu. I'd guess that Choya has probably helped Boss and the FXO guys settle in, and given them some help in setting up a proper Korean practice regime. Maybe he's got the fOu guys to practice with them as well.

We've seen a lot of cases of Code B/A Koreans dominating foreign events, such as Moon and Ace. I think Choya is certainly stronger than Moon, and about on par with Ace, although he does have a more cheesy playstyle. People say the same shit about Rain: "Oh, he's so terrible, no foreign team will want him, he's worse than most foreigners". It's just not true. Qualifying for code A is about a thousand times harder than making it out of any MLG open bracket, so I don't see him having too much trouble unless he runs into a Strelok or somebody. He may not win the tournament, but he's still going to be one of the 10 best players at it.
