Iirc, all previous season switches have been accompanied by a balance patch. Correct?

For the next two weeks we'll be stuck in whatever position we are in for each league as games won't add or subtract points. Only our MMR will be affected, which we can't see anyway. After 14 days, Season 3 starts and there's the one match to play before players are placed into new divisions and possibly leagues based on the MMR that was changing in those two weeks. What, no? You have totally misunderstood everything. Bonus pool will not be cleared, it will just stop growing. And games WILL add/subtract points. The only change is that leagues will be locked, and bonus pool will no longer grow.

Did you just make this up? Totally wrong in every way possible.... Why do people just talk what ever pops into their head on forums. Bonus pool will no longer grown (you can't get more of it) You will gain / lose points for ladder wins / losses (no change) Your MMR will still change (no change) You are unable to get promoted / demoted leagues for two weeks. (This promotion/demotion will happen when you play your qualifier for season 3 should you require moving) Hope this cleared things up.

Yeah, if you win majority of your games on lock and up your MMR enough, you will be promoted on S3 placement match.

As in all of ONE season switch? :p Lol I think that one case was coincidental, I'm sure they would have released patch notes if they planned to make a patch for the new season..

Only thing thats really a mental block for me is that I feel like my control group setup is bad. I do fine with it and could easily make masters with it, but I feel in the long run it'll eventually slow me down, and the fact it takes so long to relearn control groups I'm hesitant to switch. (ex. 1-cc, 2-main army, 3-production, 4+ other army/units). Can anyone suggest an optimal control group setup for Terran?
