Warnings should only given by blizzard personally through their official emails. Why should they ban Huk/TLO for playing unrated games? This doesn't make sense. There are many other tournaments where account sharing takes place, casters doing this regulary too, so it must have something to do with Huk laddering on TLO's account.

ive seen tournaments where people have used other accounts. Happened in NASL didnt it? i think machine used someone elses account. and everytime i watched HuK ladder on his stream on TLO account he was telling people that its HuK and not TLO so its not like he was lying to people or anything

HuK using TLO's account affects the integrity of Blizzard's ladder and their ToS. it doesn't have to do with identity or anything as that's not a law in NA like it is in Korea.

While i could rage all i want about no LAN feature in sc2, at the end of the day Blizzard is a company and this is their business. Piracy is too much of an issue and too much of a revenue loss for them, and they did what they thought could be the only mode of drastically reducing piracy of their games. They've made a fantastic product and I'm more than happy to pay for a game that has kept me entertained for countless hours.

It would ping the Battle.net servers at a rate that Blizzard feels comfortable with, and if the connection was lost you either A) Pause the game until a connection is re-aquired, instead of dropping players and ending the match. B) Allow the game to finish and then require a connection to be made with Blizzard again before hosting any more matches. Blizzard would probably feel more comfortable with option A, but I don't understand why option B isn't doable, as it requires both players to be on active accounts at the start of the match. Why is this not possible? I don't know if anyone replied to this already, but I felt it needed clarification: If they allow LAN play, in any way, crackers will find a way to circumvent their checks. Ping a Blizzard server? They can make the game "think" it's pinging the server. There must be a solution somehow, but it's not as trivial or doable as possible.

Pirates I tell you, PIRATES. I really think this whole thing is blown completely out of proportion for both sides. It was just a warning, no one was banned, the world will continue to turn tomorrow, and how this became an issue of LAN support confuses me.

Wasn't Huk the one who laddered from 1000 diamond to 4000 in Season 1 in a few days? There are other really good progamers who almost exclusively face inferior players on their stream (idra for example) and are simply listed as favored and get almost no points for winning. I just can't believe that someone is soooooo goood that even other grandmasters are too low for him so I rather conlcude that it is a simple ladder bug.

1 - Don't call my phone. 2 - What gives you the right to invade my privacy by contacting me in such a way? Even if it is TaKe's phone, they still don't have the right to telephone a warning. Even if the stream is public also, that's still got to be against some rule or law or something. 3 - It's such a stupid rule to begin with, but what did they hope to gain by calling? All it would do is cause fans to be mad, like this thread. I don't get what they hope to accomplish by doing it over the phone and not in a standard email.

Thats an insane wait! Id love to see what would be said about this by Blizzard, because clearly waiting hours to play a ladder game is totally ridiculous, and you can clearly see why Huk used TLOs acc. What I especially find interesting is that they warn them that they'll ban TLO after all the good (attention/popularity etc) he and the rest of liquid have brought to Starcraft.

Blizzard is not a single person, the fact that one of their com managers called Take once does not mean that the whole company isn't doing anything else.
