So the heads up phone call really isn't that bad at all. Account sharing usually isn't a bannable offense. You'd probably only get a warning or temporary suspension, if caught. They would ban you if you're an excessive offender.

Is there a betting market for "The reason (if any) that SC2 fails as an E-Sport" cause i want to put a lot of money on the option "Blizzard". Of course its nice of them to enforce their EULA or whatever, but this speaks volumes beyond mere rule enforcement. Things like this just scare me. Like impending doom kinda vibes. Hope i'm wrong >_<

Account sharing when it affects who's #1 in GM league for a region may be viewed differently, due to Blizzcon tournament invites (which are currently probably being planned.)

Also for everyone claiming that HuK playing TLOs acc is the equivalent of smurfing; what do you care? Is your mmr that high? and if it is, do you really care? So you'd rather meet the new TLO in diamond league? o_o. Btw, HuK has to make a smurf account now also. You should consider picking your 'smurf' battles to look less fail.

But its good they called them, and didnt just ban them, but it would also be pretty stupid of blizz to just ban a progamer like that. I dont see a problem with what blizz did tbh.

What's the big deal anyway, it's not like HuK doesn't have an account, he's got accounts on all servers, so it's not like they're losing money by this account sharing. Talk about being mad with power. Well atleast it probably made some bored Blizzard employees day to be able to screw with someone.

or is that considered "account sharing" because 30 different people use it?

If I am correct, then what they did to Huk was completely STUPID!

Why yes? Why wouldn't it. Normaly you would need a special license to share products like that. (goes for a lot of games, music, books and movies.) So yes it is clearly account sharing unless the café have a license or agreement with blizzard.

Of course I am talking about the MLG where he and Morrow in the final and morrow won with mass reaper.....if you check the replay, it is someone else clearly. I really wonder why they didnt do anything about THAT?! If I am correct, then what they did to Huk was completely STUPID! Well it was the IEM, the European championships, not MLG. As I recall it it was Idra playing, but if not, he probably just didn't have an EU account yet. I've heard lot's of people borrowing accounts when playing on another server etc.

why they doing this? easy answer: they don't want multiple people using same account due to the fact they want you to buy a "smurf" so that they make more money. not to mention, all those households with more than one kid.... i'm pretty disappointed in blizzard atm.

No, that's not even an argument. It says right in the ToS that children can use the account of their parent. It's been in the ToS for a while. Subject to the laws of your country of residence, minor children may utilize an Account established by their parent or legal guardian with the approval of their parent or legal guardian. In the event that you permit your minor child or legal ward (collectively, your "child") to use an Account on the Service, you hereby agree to this Terms of Use Agreement on behalf of yourself and your child, and you understand and agree that you will be responsible for all uses of the Account by your child whether or not such uses were authorized by you, including, but not limited to, your minor child's acceptance of the EULA Games that are playable on the Service, or any Game-Specific Terms of Use.

Since you are still sharing account....>.>
