So your terrible ladder system renders it impossible for him to queue up for any games, yet using another account is forbidden?

Why is everyone making such a big deal about this? Oh, Blizzard enforcing the rules they set for their game? HOW DARE THEY!? Wrong, its our game. A game without players is incomplete.

It's really not a big deal and threads like this do nothing but hurt e-sports. Frankly I think we're being the immature ones, if we want people to take e-sports seriously then the very VERY few times that Blizzard wants to say something we should listen to them IMO. How about no? How's that sound? They basically want HuK to buy a new account and grind it up to masters if he wants to find games quickly. It's silly, and this type of behavior shouldn't be supported. Honestly, it's the same thing as lending a game to your friend. Companies don't like that; they'd rather have your friend buy the game himself to play it. But, just because the company says that it's wrong, doesn't make the action wrong. There's nothing wrong with sharing an account for something like this. Perhaps if HuK was playing on TLO's account forever, and never actually had his own account, ever. Maybe then, it would warrant a warning. But this is just silly. We shouldn't just sit down and listen to them. And honestly, people aren't going to take esports seriously if we listen to blizzard. If we listened to blizzard, and never complained, we wouldn't have had GSL maps in the ladder pool; we'd still have steppes of war in there, since blizzard said they wanted rush maps in the ladder pool, like steppes of war.

If you want to get all 'FU' with Blizzard, do it about them putting this into the license to begin with.

In addition, Huks MMA problem is pretty unique or to phrase it differently the normal customer will never have this problem. I don't know what i would do in his situation but breaking the user agreement is not the way to go... and Blizzard is sending exactly this message by threatening bans on those who do.

Nothing is going to happen until you don't buy into their crap anymore. Gamers are the biggest pawns when it comes to consumerism. Considering Blizzard has such a loyal fan base the likelihood of them treating their customers better is extremely far fetched. Nothing is going to change. In fact, Blizzard will only tighten the noose to protect their property.

What if a family member wants to play sc2 on your account? Is that sharing? What about a co-worker? What if you need to play games on an alias so people are checking up on you or you just want to be left alone?

No one is arguing that Blizzard isn't allowed to do this. It's an illegal contract and unenforceable. ToS and EULAs would not hold up if in court as binding contracts.
