In fact, this thread has like 35+ pages, so he's definitely gotten some more publicity from this. Destiny'll be fine, as long as he's happy with his decision.

BUT.... All that being said he is still a great source of entertainment and has been able to clearly carve a small niche for himself via the streams. He is not the best player in the world (obvious) but he makes a fair bit of short change on what he does. And why do something you dont enjoy? if he doesnt want to be part of a team thats fair enough , and maybe in a year or two he will be more willing to join a team together with being a much better player for 'waiting it out' Steves' not bothered (i presume), the teams' not bothered, I am not bothered , so why are you? As with alot of TL posters - it seems a bit immature to effectively be trying to create a big fuss over nothing.

What is his accomplishments as a player? Is it because the way he talks on his stream that gets him all this attention?

Best of luck Destiny you'll find another opportunity with a team that better fits your personality and liking. If not just pull a Grubby and make your own team! =D

Sadly, now that the "language topic" has come about, it would seem that's all people think Destiny is known for.

Now they merge with ROOT, which would be great considering ROOT has always had some great talent, but it isn't a full merge. The two players that essentially make up ROOT's success decide not to join. Shortly thereafter the player in ROOT who got more publicity than anyone else (Kiwi winning tournaments an exception) parts. I can definitely see great things coming from Complexity in SC2,. Eh, I guess I'm glad I get to see Catz more at least.

The boring thing with "professionalism" is that it bends and eventually breaks down characters. Like in "real" sports, not one guy says anything worth a shit, all that comes from their mouths are clichés which, for me atleast, takes away alot from the fun.

I'm trying super super hard not to respond to some people in this thread, but posters like the aforementioned really make me wish it'd get locked so I don't get perm-banned from these forums. :[ Clearly he has the moral high ground on you since you have a child out of wedlock! Who have heard of such things! Just you wait until you get back to the village, there will be some serious whispers and finger pointing going on.

He is an uneducated college dropout with an illegitimate child; moreover, he is a MUSIC MAJOR dropout. That makes him the equivalent of the demographic that he constantly berates (at the most) and uses racial epithets towards... assuming that you want to apply stereotypes like Destiny does. Spending an entire paragraph shitting on someone's character like this is ridiculous. What was even the point of posting this?

That being said, his racist remarks are completely unacceptable. He should be more professional and mature than that. Sadly, I stopped watching his stream as his rants and remarks increased.

My humble opinion is that it would be much better for the community if we stayed out of this and the players were judged based on their play, not what they say on their own streams. PS: I am not trying to judge on the situation as a whole, as it is obviously much deeper than that, I am just concerned that the "destiny speaks crap on his channel" aspect is given too much exposure for my taste.

Idra got it, MC got it. But apperently you need to be at the very top to be allowed to BM people, do slit-throat signs etc. Otherwise you are bad for the image and have to go, what amazes me is what cruncher is doing in col's lineup if destiny is too much? I mean does anyone like that due... at all? If they would truly care about their image they should get rid of him, and not someone that has tons of fans and stands for what he says, even has debates about it. But sure, if complexity wants 10 blank canvases playing for them (and catz) which no one really cares about, GLHF

coL was not a great place for him because either he would manner up and lose viewrs or just be incredibly unhappy. BUT watching some of his vids on youtube,(the ones where he is talking to debo and catz) it seems as if he is starting to think about his actions and think about if he should continue to use his language or tone it down a bit. Not saying he should but at least he is thinking about it more and more. I hope that he continues to be himself and joins a team that will allow him to be himself on the stream but also that he would be more professional at events where he is representing the team (although I don't recall him being very BM at MLG and such). All in all I don't think that coL was a good fit for him, hope he gets with another group of players so he can continue to grow as a player and hopefully one day be able to compete at the highest level while still entertaining us on stream ![]()

The rest of your rant is rather common and even debatable but that line was the lowest form of comment I've seen on this forum. Bad taste, personal attack, misinformed....and as another guy said, you don't mention children, you just don't - if you don't see why you got a serious issue.
