I cannot be bothered watching this show anymore, personally I would like the other 3 gentlemen to look back on this episode and watch how Painuser behaved himself. As great as some analogies from DjWheat can get, its not worth going through the 2 hours of kids throwing feces at each other.
I hope I come back to this thread in a week or two from now and read the new episodes are a lot better than this one.

We aren't freaking out at them because they weren't a huge company... Blizzard made millions before Starcraft2 came out. At least they are actively trying to improve their game. Can't say the same about Blizzard. How can you go from a good Starcraft: Broodwar online experience to a shit Starcraft2 online experience? Why are we going backwards?

You aren't listening to what I'm saying. This isn't about Blizzard at all. They are "shitting on" no one, and no one is being "treated like dogshit". They're doing what they think is best for their business interest. If we can't trust that their objectives coincide with our objectives, we need to take control of our own direction and do what we can to make the game the best we can. Not everyone is going to switch to LoL. I certainly am not. And they aren't mutually exclusive anyways. If I did like LoL, I don't see what would stop me from watching both games.
But either way, if we can't make Blizzard fix the problems there are with SC2, then we just have to work within the same confines of SC2 as we've had for the past 2 years. It's not really a big deal. I'll still watch MLG, GSL and all the other tournaments. I'll still watch IdrA's stream, iNcontroL's stream, Destiny's stream, and DJWheat's shows. Because that's something I can actually do to support the scene.

no, we fucking stay here because we love SC2, we either love to watch it or to play it or both, and we will keep nagging blizzard about all this issues. This is NOT a new issue, people been rightfully bitching to blizzard about this since the game came out and if ever they fix everything that is asked we will find new things to ask because we love the game. What the community can do is keep what they are doing and improving on it, try to get more content out there, try to get more people to enjoy the game and help wherever we can. I, and most people on TL i would suppose, am here because i do enjoy SC2, and games will always be restricted by what they are in their true nature. All i am going to do is keep following the scene and the game BECAUSE I ENJOY IT, and people like djwheat, day9, incontrol, tastosis, etc will keep putting out the content because they enjoy doing it and there are still people who care for more then numbers. Blizzard is a huge company, but they make a lot of games. Most of their staff is made up of people maintaining WoW. Even the larges development companies only have a staff of 200-300 people. That is for huge games, like Uncharted and Assassins Creed. Riot has a staff of around 100, which is likely less that the staff for SC2, but there is no way that Blizzard has over 300 people working on SC2. It is likely less. The changes people want are huge and will take time to program, test and make work.
There are huge posts on Bnet every way where the Blizzard responds to the community. They just posted a huge one about custom maps and adding the haywire missiles to the Thor to see how it worked. They tested out the modified movement system and found it to not change all that much, but they looked into it.
Blizzard is giving people what they want if they look to find the responses. They said yesterday there is no way for them to see everything.

Well done watching itg now, sadly I like slasher and scoots to much to drop lo3. I respect what wheat has done in the past for esports as a whole but I haven't seen him do something that I would qualify as quality in a long time.
Painuser gets mad respect for staying calm at destiny and then incontrol trying to piss him off.

The thing is, Destiny was an absolute ass the entire time and copped out at the end, and I was agreeing with what IdrA, inControl and Wheat were saying but they came off so poorly in how they argued that the entire end of that episode was a shit-show.

Its not that blizzard doesn't care. Its that they care even more about the actual $$ they get on the game.. and this crap is the worst PR nightmare they can possible get. There is no way they can avoid it now, similar to when they said you were supposed to use your real name.
If we people would just have sucked it up like idra and incontrol is suggesting and doing "what we can" instead of getting all mental over the forums.. we would have been forced to use real names.. And guess what? We don't..,. EXACTLY what the fuck can we do!!?? rhetorical question we can not do jack shit as a community with out blizzard what is the community going to get together in a huge circle jerk and hack blizzard so we can implement the changes we want? the problems ly with blizzard so idra and incontrols point that we as a community can only do what we do is fucking ridiculous we cant do shit about blizzard being fucked only blizzard can. Did you even read what I wrote? What we can do is show Blizzard that its not acceptable the way it works now. Of course we cant make the actual implementations ourselves, but we can show blizzard that this is something that we need. Similar to how "we" handled the real name issue. And that's the part that I hate to admit.. The only way to get blizzard to actually listen is go full shitstorm... kinda how everything looks right now. So I wouldn't be suprised to see a blue within the next week announcing something that will "soothe" us down..Exactly how its always been with Blizzard. Oh, and another matter to prove my point. Chats was NOT a part of Bnet 2.0... people went fucking mental on forums.. behaved like assholes in response to the "Do you really want chat rooms?"-bullshit. And look where we are now.. we have chat rooms.. even if its a bad implementation. Question: Does the LoL client have chat rooms? I have never noticed them beyond the party options, which B.net 2.0 has. I know Valve does and they are "passable", though mostly filled with trade spamming. Yes it does...Bottom right beside your friend list (Just like in Bnet) Why are we not freaking out at Riot for not having chat rooms? Also, LoL launched in 2009 without replays or spectator mode. Also no system to punish people for DCing and a limited reporting system. And no replays. Spectator mode was not added until May, 2012. So it took them three years to add in spectator mode and it was added 5 months ago. We aren't freaking out at them because they weren't a huge company... Blizzard made millions before Starcraft2 came out. At least they are actively trying to improve their game. Can't say the same about Blizzard. How can you go from a good Starcraft: Broodwar online experience to a shit Starcraft2 online experience? Why are we going backwards? Blizzard is a huge company, but they make a lot of games. Most of their staff is made up of people maintaining WoW. Even the larges development companies only have a staff of 200-300 people. That is for huge games, like Uncharted and Assassins Creed. Riot has a staff of around 100, which is likely less that the staff for SC2, but there is no way that Blizzard has over 300 people working on SC2. It is likely less. The changes people want are huge and will take time to program, test and make work. There are huge posts on Bnet every way where the Blizzard responds to the community. They just posted a huge one about custom maps and adding the haywire missiles to the Thor to see how it worked. They tested out the modified movement system and found it to not change all that much, but they looked into it. Blizzard is giving people what they want if they look to find the responses. They said yesterday there is no way for them to see everything. . But Plansix Reddit needs instant gratification. Without it they will continue to canabalize the scene and do nothing but perpetuate a really negative attitude. Personally I wish the mods over there would just take a stand and stop all this BS thats been going on :/
I totally agree. This community is going to destroy itself long before anything outside does. To much power is given to a small group of people screaming at all hours. I love the game and the players, but I work a full time job and I can only do so much. These people seem to have endless free time fill the entire community with bile and venom.
