 No previous RTS experience - I'd say it took me a pretty long time to get up to masters. However, I am proud of the fact that I stuck with it instead of quitting like 90% of my friends did. | ||

It's odd, because when I look you up on SC2Ranks it looks like you started back around September '10 and didn't get Masters until Feb '11. That's 5 months. In season one you were Diamond with over 600 wins, which means likely over a thousand games played. In season two you were also Diamond, with over 300 wins... again, assuming roughly 50% rate, we'll say at least 500 games. So in reality, it took you 5+ months and over 1500 games to get into Masters. It's awesome you're good at the game dude, it's nothing to scoff at if anyone can get into masters, let alone within 6 months. But don't try and glorify your story, especially when you've posted your B.Net username/char code on these same forums and your record is public. Edit- In further looking at your history, it also looks like you've been demoted back to Diamond several times, most recently just about a month ago, before going back into Masters. | ||

got ladder anxiety, so I only played team games. This season, started playing 1's and used the 3 rax stim push to get a 10 win streak, when it failed the following 3 matches, I broke my mouse and stopped playing 1's for weeks. Started again this week (got #1 with alot less games played than anyone in top 5), got around 11-1 before 3 rax stim push was becoming stagnant, so I actually started to play properly. Beat my way through majority of the silvers I was put against, still no promotion. Played a game before work this morning, defending a baneling bust = promotion EDIT: Got placed in gold for random 4's last season, got put with the same guy twice, who left both games, got demoted to silver, lost a few games and got demoted to bronze, must of been within 10 games from gold to bronze -_-. Got placed in bronze for random 4's again this season, and then worked my way up to plat ^^'. | ||

After like 300games i got in silver finally, 50more for gold. This was the moment were i actually began to understand the game, learning new strats and buildorders. Like 100 into Plat and around 40more for diamond now im here, ready to learn even more :D | ||

Season 2 I played my placement and got plat - I played maybe ~40 games total this season. Season 3 placement I lost and got plat - I didn't feel like playing much but then over a two day period I played ~30 games, which was a lot more than I usually would, and got Diamond. At the moment I'm sitting at rank 2 in my league, hoping to get masters soon if I could get more time to play. | ||
