P.S. I still play top diamond players in about 33% of my games, and while I win most of those, they're still tough.

When master league was implemented, my friend got into masters in one game (I hadn't played yet) and he and I were extremely competitive. Around that time, he was doing better than me because he was playing 10 games a day and I had given up because my PvP and PvT sucked and I had no clue what I was doing. I figured, if I didn't get promoted in one game, I would give up (most likely temporarily because my ego wouldn't allow). I went and played, lost the game and got promoted - good enough for me. Then I stopped playing for a while. | ||

I played (and still play) a lot of my master clanmates, getting around 50%W/L ratio with them, but on the ladder just didnt make the cut. But, this sunday my clanmate told me that he would give me the amazing sum of 4 euro, if I would make it to masters before our meeting at thursday. Monday I got promoted to masters, and am now waiting for his 4 euros  | ||

Diamond was def the most satisfying promotion (silver a close 2nd) But I know masters will be the best when i get it (beating my 1st master on ladder was epic! lol) | ||

First i got promoted to diamond then it took me a few games and i got to masters league. Now I'm going for GM league. I came from League Of Legends before sc2 so. PS. I'm a very quick learner, got pro in LoL very fast. Took me about a few months to get there. | ||

I started playing sc2 in the end of last season, so, i started in bronze and got my way up to BRONZE PRESIDENT!! (Leagues ar locked) Then the season 3 started ... I got my 5 replacement matchs and got to GOLD i was thinking "MAN IM FACKING BADASS NO1 CAN HOLD ME NOW, GSL HOLD THERE IM GOING THEREEEEE". So, i got demoted to silver (fak), ok, now im laddering a lot (for me) playing 3 to 10 games everyday, now im Silver President, I was winning a lot and get placed vs gold everytime and winning and also got 3 plat's, 2 wins and 1 lose for plat players. SO NOWWWWW i got a losing streak 3 loses, 1 victory and bla bla all this sh1t. I dont know why they dont fac*ing promote me, im winning almost everygame against silver oponnents, never got placed vs bronze anymore, and have rly good fights against gold winning a rly nice % of those games. What should i do? I have like 185 victory's this season, something like 400 games or less. Should i start let guns to sc2? | ||

It was TvT on Scrap Station... The guy was pretty BM especially when my 4 blue-flame hellions (this was in April, so they weren't during the 'popular' streak.) utterly destroyed every single one of his scv's. After that point, he got even more bm. While in his base, I noticed he had turrets up, so before I went to drop more units, I scanned, and he got even MORE bm... it was rather amusing, even though that drop failed. So after a few minutes, I just went and killed him. He couldn't live against what I had, so he left, with no gg. After that, I was promoted and sent him a tell saying 'thanks for the promotion<3' | ||

placed into silver on release, got diamond within a month. now im grandmaster on two accounts. should be GM on my europe account in the near future, and am high masters on korea. all with no previous rts experience! | ||

I sometimes loose to the top gold players, whereas I usually win against platinum players. I got my promotion on scrap station, a PVT. I just learned a new build, a dt rush with 5 gateway, a robo for a wraprism and a forge for +1 and 5 canon for protection with a full wall in. I know pretty newby build. I wrap my 5 dt in is base, he goes for the base trade, but my canon hold off. The other guys start bm and leave I just got promoted to silver league | ||
