Would love to check these out. Are there other highly regarded non-ladder maps out there right now for 1v1? Yep, just go to b.net custom games and search for "iCCup"

LOL totally forgot. GSL is implementing them later though, so you could maybe make the argument. Don't bother though, because it does not matter. I just want every league to start using custom maps. The Blizz maps are getting so stale, been playing them since beta nearly a year!

seriously, this is what we need, give more exposure to good community maps instead of screaming to Blizzard about them being good just because they are made by iCcup.(No offense to you guys, I think your maps are fantastic. I just think that giving them tourney exposure is the better way to go about the whole Map pool thing)

We were initially in a position where tournaments were scared to use them since they were not in the ladder, obviously now that's not the situation ![]()

The community needs to either latch on to the new GSL maps or ICCUP maps, and seeing as GSL is the much larger and infinitely more important organization 'm leaning towards them. Having some leagues use x custom maps and ther leagues using y maps is completely unfair to the players. Yeah, I think the same. It's great that the big tournaments start using custom maps. But, different tournaments using a different mappool might become a problem. I hope MLG (as the 3rd major tournament) will either side with ESL or GSL and use the same mappool. The split mappool would make it more difficult to "region hop" for the players. I doubt we would see Koreans at Dreamhack, or some EU/NA players flying over to GSL and just try to qualify (without any major plans to stay for multiple months), because of "unknown" maps. For me as a spectator it wouldnt matter that much - but a split scene might provide some difficulties for the players. But, as I said earlier, still a great change :D

3 Spawn Points, meant for 2 players (1v1). Symmetry is not standard reflection or rotational.

It's hard to do a map preview with the fog of war, etc. I'd like to introduce more people to these maps on my channel.

So far it's also been the most balanced and creative map in our pool. Time will tell though ![]()
