I could see MVP going deep again, maybe even repeating (although that would be a stretch). I play Terran and we need some diversity here. Maybe I'll cheer for Cool this season, but I doubt he'll bring his game like in S1, his winners cheque has allowed him to drink too much. Also, rain is in Code A. I love it, death to 1 base allins. I would put Tester on the same level as Genius. Both really good protosses who usually lose because of greedy play.

Hopefully, the GSTL map pool change will be the final test of their new maps before implementing them for the next GSL. It would be a shame if after all this testing on GSTL and the Gisado stream, the maps don't end up making the cut. However, I think GOM has too much to lose from not changing up their map pool.

How did he copy MKPs style? Sure I dont remember exactly how the games went and I missed most of the game on scrap in wich I understand he sort of copied it but the rest? He incorporated tanks pretty early on in all 3 games wich is in my opinion not copying MKPs style. It is pretty late in the game before you see MKP getting tanks and I have seldom or rather never seen him use them in a timing push.

It is pretty late in the game before you see MKP getting tanks and I have seldom or rather never seen him use them in a timing push. + Show Spoiler + Well, MVP went for an aggressive one-base, multiple barracks, pure marine aggressive push against MKP during many of the games, which is something many people thought would come out of MKP instead. People equate MKP with an aggressive, marine-heavy style, yet in the Code S finals MVP outproduced marines and was more aggressive than MKP, which was ironic considering MarineKing was dethroned as the king of aggressive marine play.

From there it is once again possible for the same to occur in RO16 and no terrans being matched in RO8. Just saying, you are not correct in saying 45% WILL be TvTs unless you already know the layout of the groups. Most likely lots will be but your statement is misleading. I'm kinda interested in hearing how he counted it to be 45%...
