Some personal predictions I think Julyzerg will have a truly hard time in S-class, I personally am not nearly as impressed as tastosis seem to be by his play. + Show Spoiler + MKP will probably be forced to switch up his style now, atleast TvT since I guess everyone will try to copy MVPs style against him wich completly slaughtered him Lyn will aswell have a pretty hard time and probably be in the up and down matches as 4th in his group depending on how that group looks ofc. Sure his play is pretty good but I dont think it will hold for RO16. Liveforever wont win a game and will have to do onebase all ins to stay in S-class once again, hopefully he faces Leenock again and this time fails. Tester will get to the finals and take a deserved win against MVP if the brackets lets them. I think its time for Tester to once again show everyone how truly awsome he is.

From there it is once again possible for the same to occur in RO16 and no terrans being matched in RO8. Just saying, you are not correct in saying 45% WILL be TvTs unless you already know the layout of the groups. Most likely lots will be but your statement is misleading.

In fact, I would even say that MVP played more MKP-like with his unit makeup and such

Maybe his factory---> starport was a bit earlier then normal but the midgame plan seemed to be the same as it usually is? Correct me if Im wrong.

By this you'll also know who the players will avoid. You can also make a format for 2nd groupstage and the playoff without knowing the results. I'll do the 1st groupstage group pots. There are 4 pots A,B,C and D. B and D have the same players but B and D will be assigned after the group drawings have been done. As B means the higher ranked person (rating they have achieved in last GSL) than D. Seed A Players 1-8 in last GSL Seed C Players 9-16 in last GSL Seed B & D Players who finished 17-31 If a player is seeded A or B they won't be able to meet another player from the same pot. This means Jinro will never face IdrA in the first groupstage etc. A seeds: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() C seeds: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() B and D seeds: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

At least they won't have to knock each other out early.

But it also depends in which groups they get drawn. Meaning if Idra is in Group C and Jinro in A they would meet eachother in the 2nd groupstage depending on their standings (first for one and other must be 2nd then). Edit: I just noticed. Due to standings it is possible we can have a group consisting of the following players. Player A: oGsNaDa Player C: SlayerSBoxeR Player B or D: ST_July Mindblowing group if that happens LOL.

I think FruitDealer is getting a lot of unwarranted flak for still retaining Code S. In the current state of the game, it's pretty hard on Zerg. The number of Zergs actually in Code S is pretty much evidence for this. IdrA even said that Zerg is going through a tough time right now. Maybe FruitDealer can lead the second revolution for Zerg, like he did in the first GSL.

GSL3 he lost 2-3 to hongun in a very interesting series, trying to 1base v. toss fast expand that failed which ultimately lost him the series. GSL Jan i didn't catch how he lost to Zenio, but his other loss was to MVP, who completely dominated this season with 1 loss total. what i've noticed is that FD has been forced to change his style of play. The roach buff changed a great deal of zerg. Leenock, however, has stuck to a slightly less flashy FD GSL1 style (but fewer baneling drops)-- which is almost completely roachless macro. I think that's why Leenock is fun to watch, as FD in GSL1 was fun to watch. but considering that, i think fruitdealer is still in the top 3 zergs-- i expect him to do better next season as well. I think he's far ahead of leenock, who still has to go through the changes FD started seasons ago.
