I liked his stream and personality but can not condone cheating of ANY kind. Lifetime ban for things like this! Pete Rose comes to mind and he didn't even cheat, just bet on baseball games.
Not so much of the "once a hacker, always a hacker" mentality, but getting caught more than once cheating just seems like bad character and morals to me. They still mean something in this day and age of Internet. I bet he subscribes to the "it's not cheating if they don't catch me" mentality. Sad for VT to be honest.
What would a lifetime ban accomplish? Most of us haven't even heard of him before, how would banning him for life years ago deter any SC2 players from cheating?

It's good to see more Foreign teams getting into Korea. The GSL will finally be a true Global Starcraft League at this rate. Hell, I bet half of GSL's viewers didn't know the G stands for Global haha.

He plays Terran so it shouldn't be too hard to get into Code A.

Either way GL!! Well you probably read his name in the list of banned hackers. I thought it was proven that he used the oblivion hack. Even though this might be a different game, I stand by the once a hacker, always a hacker and don't think he should get any attention. Link? Quotes? Proof? Differentiation between abusing and hacking? Dont hate the player, hate the game. Spades has accomplished so much is sc2, probably more than you ever will. You should stand behind your fellow foreigners in korea no matter who they are. Without them esports as a whole; moving more and more to the United States day by day most likely will not happen. So when your done QQing about how badly you want to go to korea but cant because your not good enough, send spades a thank you email for doing his part in Foreign esports. GL SPADES! VTGAMING!!! Proof: http://www.gosugamers.net/starcraft/features.php?i=a&id=2381&query_id=521I understand you want to defend your teammate, but don't be ignorant in the act of doing so. If a guy doesn't care for Spades, fine, there's no need to insult him and look completely unprofessional.
It's probably already been said, but TT1 was a hacker too. No one says he should be banned.
Edit: Testie as well and he has found a home at the top of the HoN scene. Once a hacker always a hacker is garbage.

i dont think he'll get in first try. but, like every foreigner in korea, his game will hopefully improve 10x and then he'll eventually make it ;D

Well, I for one, have no doubt Spades will qualify for code A. He is good.

Wasn't there even some hacking stuff involving HayprO?
People do stupid shit, it just happens and they probably all got punished for it in some way...

Because he cheated?

Does that mean you don't support other former hackers? Should Fnatic dump TT1?

He seems like a nice guy and all but he acted like a bit of a douche on a few games I've seen of him. Whatever, will have to wait and see.

at least tt1 had the balls to admit it

Fnatic obviously doesn't have a problem with it. On the player descriptions on the Fnatic site it even says something like "even though he has a shady past"
Seems like most people wont get over pas events. FFS even Dimaga cheated and people LOVE him.

Any foreigner, and any team, that heads out there should really get all of our support!

I didn't see what you wrote. What were you wrong about?

disregarding his past, i dont think he is ready as a player yet. we need to keep in mind that incontrol, ret, haypro, huk, select, and others also went to korea to try for the gsl. only a small number of those foreigners who tried made it through the qualifiers.
Yes, spades is skilled. but no, considering the quality of players who have gone before him and failed and considering the quality of players who have succeeded, id have to say that i think spades falls under the category of those who have failed.

Something tells me he's gonna be BIG...
