+ Any other pro players that you want me to add? + Does anybody know what reduced mouse lag does? + From most streams that ive watched, why do pros not use "Display build grid" ? + If anyone knows any custom Hotkeys that pros have changed comment below. + Has anyone else found that there is less lag in team games compared to 1v1? + Blizz should add the ability in replays to hide half of the production queue ( So that if you are watching someone from player camera as well as the production tab, but you can see what the oppenent is building as well.)
yeah but with windowed (fullscreen) i often time experience the bug (i have 2 monitors) that my mouse scrolls out of starcraft2 to my 2nd monitor.
also tlo uses everything low with high shaders, so invisible units can be seen better. (well at least a few months ago he used that. don't know if he changed his settings)

*Nod* but its also good to understand what other players use, to see if there is a trend.

KawaiiRice uses display build grid. I suppose a lot of pros might not use it because they know building placement so well that it becomes unnecessary. Especially since a lot of them came from Broodwar where there was no grid, you just had to memorize the wall-ins and such on every map.
Windowed(Fullscreen) keeps the SC2 window in the background even when you tab out. This makes tabbing faster, and also lets you keep an eye on the game while doing something else (for example, I often spend the first couple of minutes in game chatting in another window since there's not much to do).

I dont understand why someone would add this to the game since it allows people to "hack" in tornaments as there are streams that you can easily alt tab too even though if you do, do this first of all shame on you and secondly its incredibly BM. Although its going to be kinda impossible to stop this since you can have 2 monitors.

I use it to alt tab to my music/stream/msn/email/other stuff. It is not only for cheating lol. Besides, even without it you can still alt tab easy if your computer doesn't suck.

You can solve you problem
OMG was this always in the client because the mouse going to another screen has been the bane of my existence.

isnt it a life time ban from every tournament if you are caught ghosting on a stream??
I use Low, Low. Please add me in your post :D. I use Low cause I can't max on ultra and I feel if it's not ultra it's not the great looking anyway. And even with high, when there's a lot of units, it slows down a little.

As you say, there are many other ways of cheating even without this feature. It would be silly to take out something useful for many people just because it potentially provides a marginally easier way to cheat in a tournament.

How can you get caught :D ?
Not that difficult; you just need to do some crazy actions you could not do without this "cheat".
Even if you try hard not to do that; you will at some point.
And if that happens; peops might get as far as looking for your IP (the same in stream and game; easy one).
Stuff like that; no matter what; if you are a Pro in some form; cheating will be caught at a point in your "career" ; and that will be your doom.
Stay fair, and everyone will like you. (or hate you even more xD)

The OP is putting down the settings for Pros. Are you a pro?
When I use windowed mode (fullscreen) I can't change the gamma in game, it stays as the default, (which I think is too dark), I usually have it a bit brighter, anyone know if it is actually possible to play in windowed and to be able to change gamma?

Yeah, I thought I'd have to do that, but then it changes the gamma of the my desktop too (which I don't want), was wondering if there was an easy solution to it? if a solution at all

Windowed( Fullscreen) using the same settings as your desktop so no. T_T
I honestly don't understand why some pros play on low graphics. It's insanely hard to see forcefields in those graphics and some things aren't as visible as medium+ graphics.

I think most pros play on low. I play on low, and forcefields are perfectly visible for me. I actually get annoyed watching casts where the game is usually in high or ultra, since there's so many little flashy bits on buildings and things.

On the other hand, as someone who plays on Ultra/Extreme settings, I barely even notice those little things.
I use low everything, high models (for protoss power fields), high textures (match VRAM), simplifiedCloaking=0 (team cloak more visible), simplifiedShaders=0 (force fields more visible)
