I also just got promoted in my random 2x2.

Gold 301 (12+12 = 325) -> Plat 312, so I lost 13 points. Obviously it was just a random number, as I play to little in this ladder, so I had no points to lose.

Bonus pool is 2070, 2309 is the total bonus pool for a new player. So 239 points that I have are from bonus pool.

312 - 239, 73.

The same number that Excalibur discovered on master promotions, do you know what does that mean??

Most likely every time ones get promoted, you get your spent bonus pool + 73.

So my theory was wrong.

That said, thanks to everyone who contributed to this "project", but there is no more need for you guys to post how many points do you lose. I already know how much you'll lose/gain... =/
