No, they would be getting generous pay raises on a regular basis for always coming up with stuff that's insanely successful. Who cares if it's a little late. Every other employee/freelancer/official/manager/company/public body is late on something all the time. That's how the world works - not always as planned.

That doesnt mean I cant be pissed off I didnt get what I was expecting? I never said I was pissed off at Blizzard or anyone in particular. Im just pissed off that it wont be reset. I agree with you for the most part, but it still bugs me.

I was pretty motivated at taking a break until the new patch, canon contain and Thor Rush are just too stupid... And now, no ladder reset while we are all waiting for masters league ? Let's wait 1.3 to touch this game on ladder again

What do u guys expect to get off the reset now and not in the next patch?
I mean its not like the system doesnt work and desperatly waits for a reset...

I'm annoyed that they wont reset. I mean they say that the 1.2 patch is coming out, and i think they hinted that a reset would be coming soon, so everyone assumed that it would be with the patch. So instead of just informing us that it wasnt, they just keep quiet. I mean how hard would it be to just say "hey guys reset isnt coming with 1.2"?
Meanwhile the ratings are so inflated that zimbabwen currency would be jealous. I wouldnt mind if they didnt reset if bonus pool wasnt there, or was slower. Soon 3k is mid diamond.
I cant even keep up with bonus pool points either, thats how much bonus pool there is :S
Come on blizzard, just tell us when the reset is coming, or when it isnt. Dont just be quiet

Right now, theres is illusion of going up in ranks, because of bonus pool, if they remove it.
for example if i do the math , I have ~60 points w/o any bonus pool.
but at the moment with bonus pool, i'm currently 1526 points + 725 bonus pool remaining.
They want to keep it that way, with illusionary short term progress, otherwise, the vast majority of players will feel like w/e they do, they dont progress.

Note that the season reset doesn't have to occur at a major patch (i.e., 1.3). It could be the case that they roll it out in one of the minor patches between 1.2 and 1.3.

Masters League is top 5% of diamond, not top 200.

it's simply points (incl. bonus) after accounting for "division modifiers"
they shoulda just done wc3 level system ;(

It really feels like Bliz is making pretty simple things complex. I remember back in the day it was really hard to level up in WC3 and the only people that actually got near 50 (can't remember if people actually got there or not) were pros. It seems like a pretty simple thing, let everyone get to like level 10, and then make people win more games than they lose to level up. I really can't see any reason to do it the way they are now...
